we can ban him if the user provides proper proof. but we dont even know who the member is... am i correct?
 
He had an IP address, but nothing came up - you still want the IP?
 
well i guess you can ask an admin to ip ban that but if he has a dynamic ip then it's pointless cuz it constantly changes. we just got to let it fly for now
 
I have to agree with Shadow on that. Just let it go for now as we haven't got any good evidence to benefit that it was our members or not. So what if he got the IP address? It could be a proxy, transparent, annonymous, or dynamic one. Who knows?

This is seriously funny when we get the blame pretty easily...
 
For crying out loud, why would he bullshit? What if it's genuine? People from this site have caused trouble before, so I wouldn't be surprised if someone was it again.

I am beginning to wonder if you ever really read the link.
 
I set up a sticky thread in the feedback section for people to report ilegal advertising.

At the very least it will stop the area getting spammed up with complaints.
 
I hope the advertising of FFF on other sites will stop now. Though I know who they were exactly and were doing it just for the referral contest as far as I'm concerned. Well since the contest is over, I hope this is all over now. If not, then I think we should figure out who those assholes are and ban them completely from viewing this site.
