Didn't see a thread for this so thought i'd make it. If there is one sorry.

So this game i just picked up a few months ago for my PSP. It's been a pretty good game so far. A lot like Final Fantasy Tactics as in for the Battle System. I love the square strategic battle system games. All in all its got a pretty good story line and a variety of unique characters.

If anyone's played it let me know what you think of it. ^^

I think it's a pretty good game, though I haven't gotten that far into the game, I think. I haven't played for a while either.

It's quite good, and keeps me well entertained on my long busrides home.

The battle system is very good. Only thing I have a problem with is that it's way too easy in the beginning. It does get a bit more challenging as you progress, but timing your transformations correctly still makes most battles a breeze (which is why i try to refrain from transforming). Also, it's way to easy to spam your strongest characters, as you're hardly ever forced to use any of the secondary party members.

The storyline isn't the strongest, but the fun gameplay makes up for it. For those who don't know, it's basically the story of Jeanne D'arc (Joan of Arc) retold with a bunch of fantasy aspects. The aspects are just a little too ridiculous for my taste, and I didn't find the character/world designs very pleasing aesthetically, though the anime cutscenes are very well animated. I had trouble liking the characters as well, I found that they lacked charisma and were generally not memorable. Not to mention, the French accents are pretty lolworthy.

Er... I think my post ended up way too critical than I originally wanted it to be, but I really do like this game alot. It's actually probably one of the best games I've played all year. It's very entertaining, and it's definitely worth anybody's time :monster:

and uh... Free battles in Jeanne D'arc >>>>>>>>>>>> Missions in Crisis Core :gasp:

I enjoy this game. The gameplay reminds me of Final Fantasy Tactics which is why I find it enjoyable. The only problem is I haven't bother to beat the game still. I guess it has to do more with a lack of motivation I have with wanting to complete the game but I will most likely get back into the swing of playing the game sometime soon again.

I also haven't finished playing it yet. I think its because i got a new game for another system.. I was also stuck in a battle that was really annoying so i just never got back to it.

The graphics aren't bad at all in this game either. And yes, it is very much like FFT for the battle system, which makes it that much greater.

between tactics and this game i hav to say that the gameplay is even. In Jeanne D'Arc, the camera is 10x better than tactics but im not to o sure about the graphics. I luv the 3d thing, but i also luv the sprites. Tactics def wins in story. Jeanne D'arc has a good story, but tactics is jus fantastic. Tutorial wise, Jeanne D'arc is better, 1st time i played tactics they didnt show me shit how to play, i eventual caught up to the basics and then it turned into a fun game. But Jeanne D'arc was easy to pick up and learn. Overall I think both games are pretty even, but tactics wins it for me because of the side quests
