I decided to start a new thread since my other one was ooold, hadn't posted in about a year or something.

I generally use watercolour paints/pencils, acrylic paints or coloured pencils, but I'm thinking of having a go at charcoal...

Here's some old stuff which some of you may have already seen. It was mostly just for practice when I was getting back into this whole drawing business.

(unfinished. I'll get round to it... eventually. <_<)

This is a tiny little watercolour of Lola from the film Run Lola Run. I liked her hair so thought I'd paint her. This was a while ago...

And I realise that her arm is a weird colour. :gasp: My mistake. <_<

A recent sketch I did when I was bored...

Acrylic painting of a nameless woman. :gasp: Very recent, as in i did it like yesterday.

Her hair needs another coat methinks, I suck at hair. -_-

I hope that i will one day have skills that good.

Bambi is cute, I remeber that pic! I love your shading on the Jungle book picture, Im naff with pencil crayon, you've done a really good job on it, and I LOVE the tigers gr umpy face...trying to remember his name sheer khan or summat...ive well spelt that wrong

I LOVE painting in acrylic, taht's what I do all mine on, you do have a knack for shading in all of those, I just think your last woman's eyes look a little bit odd, I think its the pupils....

Not that Im one to talk I SUCK at faces.

Why thankyou. And the last woman's eyes are supposed to be creepy. <_< There is a story behind that, basically, she sold her soul to the devil so that she could be 'beautiful' and as a consequence she's just this plastic Barbie figure and has no pupils. >_>

Ahhh, in that case well done, you got the desired reaction from me then xDD

Orofl. Not quite. But the being the perfect and beautiful woman, reminds me of Daniella from Haunting Ground. She has such a straight face like your painting to. Tis creepy? But really pretty. ^^

As most, I'm in love with your Jungle Book picture. I love how well Baghera came out. Mine are always crap. Literally... xD

the Notre Dame seems like it needs some works on both arms and legs, mostly just the hands though. But I've heard that's hard with drawing, and I well believe it, seeing what you did there isn't anything I can top...

The Bambi one looks spot on. Looks like you just traced lines almost. THAT's how awesome it looks to me. Really really good.

You're a really good artist. Hope to see more of your stuff, Jane. :)
