After discovering that I should now have Float and Wall for Rosa (by the time I reach the Cave of Summons), I've realised that I'm 5 levels under getting Float and Christ-knows how many levels below Wall; I'm in desperate need of the latter for Asura.

Anyway, this has led me to ask my main question: where in the game are there good places to level? Obviously, right now, I can't leave Underworld, but the information will be useful for the future.

5 levels seems like days away when I have to get 10000 experience to level up Rosa to 31 and I'm only getting an average of 1000 experience per battle. =(

...or less.

tbh, you just need to train as you go, I always found the enemies in each area challenging enough, just go level up where you were, I find its mush easier to always spend a little bit of extra time in each area than powering through, because you just wont cope in the next area =/

It helps gathring exp by completing ll the maps in the area a syou get n augment for that lte ron once you've fully explored each map - if yur playingthe DS version, not sure if it applies for the PS version as i never finished that one...

thats what i did anyway, because I just coul;dnt progress otherwise :wacky:

Ouch. The best place to l found to level was the Lunar Subterrane but you are not there yet. I would go into the cave of the summons or the Slyph cave and walk around the tiles that do not damage you for random encounters. The monsters should yield high exp. This applies to the SNES version, but I imagine it applies to the DS one as well. This also has the advantage of keeping you near the entrance so you can leave and use a tent (or just use exit)

Oh, I forgot about those places. Cast float and the floors won't damage you, you might wanna level up before actually heading in those places though, I had a hell of a time when I first head in there... if you're gunna train in there, staynear the entrance so you can make a hasty retreat, but for your levels atm, you should be ok with just wandering round the underworld til you feel confident enough to move on

I would cast Float but my point is that I don't have it yet, so I'm looking for places to level up. xD

I did just run through the Cave of Summons and used Hi-Potions after every few steps, I'll try sticking close to the Land of Summons and venture out and try a few battles.

Oh shit, I need to pay attention. It's horrible in there you know...you sure you wanna risk it without having it? I died SO many times...all that lost exp -shakes head- you should be fine just levelling outside it, I was getting decent exp and leveled up quite regular. I never even bothered training in there, it exhausted my supplies to much, I basically ran through and held my breath xD

Don't come rantiong to me when you die...actually do, it makes a change me lolling at your fails :wacky:

I managed to get through the entire Cave without having a single party member KO'd, I'll have you know. xD

I'll just double-back, now that I'm in the Land of Summons, train and go back to the inn if need be.
