Have you ever had a bug or hair or anything in your drink or food? Explain here.

Discuss: Hair, Flies, etc; Things that land in your food that don't belong there.
 
Huh? Weird topics. lol

I once was drinking an orange soda from a can at my Pop's house when I was little. I left the can out on the porch while we ran inside for a while. I came back out and there was still a lot of soda left in it. I took a sip and felt something hit my lip. I dumped out the soda and found a bee in it. I usually keep my drink with me wherever I go since then just to stay safe. I'm not like over paranoid or anything about it, it's just how it goes with me and my drinks.
 
I personally came into this thread solely for the purpose to see a Fly Hair....

Anyways, my hair is pretty long so sometimes my own hair will fall into my stuff which kind of sucks. OH! One time at high school, I was eating chicken soup and I almost choked on a bone that shouldn't have been in there.
 
Haha, the worst that ever landed in anything of food value (my water) was a cockroach. I found it floundering around in the drink, dead, just during break. I had already taken a sip from it too. :'(

Anyways, the other worst one was in my rice at lunch in 5th grade (4th grade U.S.). It was a worm. :monster:
 
Uhm...I actually found a spring in my food at a Chinese restaurant once. It looked like one of those springs that you find in an ink pen.
Luckily I got a free meal out of it...
 
I find a worm more disgusting than a roach, worms are slimy.

I've found gnats in my drinks at work before. And at home, since we have two cats, their hair ends up EVERYWHERE, including food.
 
Oh you haven't seen the roaches in Asia. They're disgusting. :sick:

I actually find the American roaches quite clean compared to the ones over there. They live in sewers by the way, and it's quite a shock to see them. They also spread a horrendous smell all over the place, so roaches are far more disgusting to be found in food than worms, in my case. XD

Hmm, also forgot to mention my hair end up in my food alot. And i really have no horror stories though. I guess that's a good thing.

Ewwwwwww! Thats why I don't like eating Chinese food. I heard so many Chinese restaurant horror stories.

My friend's mom got take out once and she found glass in her food. Before my parents had me, they lived in a apartment near a Chinese restaurant. They sprayed the place, finally, and the whole floor was covered in cockroaches.

I think the worst experienced I had with food is cheap chicken nuggets. I don't know why!? When ate them when I was a kid. Every time I bit into a nugget there was bone or something.
 
Haha, I was waiting for stories of short & curlies or something (gross...). Never found pubes up in my food before, although one time I came fairly close to thinking I might've before I determined that it had been a hair from my own goatee. I was *this* close to being convinced I was going to have to throttle a waiter or cook.

Other than my own hair, which I have no problems picking out since it's mine, I haven't really had any recent experiences finding any surprises in my food. I remember a particular trip to the zoo however when I took a nice healthy bite of an apple and came away with a big gooey worm.
 
I found a Wasp in my mac&cheese once. Quite Weird. I went off for the bathroom and came back and it was dead in my mac and cheese. =O. It's horn sitting up out the food.
 
I am always finding the odd fly straying into my drink of cold ale. I simply pretend its not there and continue getting pissed.
 
Usually when I find a hair in my food, if it looks anything like it could be mine I just take it out and keep eating since I do have long hair and sometimes it does end up in my food

As for flies, that has happend twice and after I had already started eating. Once it happend at mcdonalds and when I got home I dumped my fries on a plate and there were a bunch of little fly things in there. I called them up to complain and they told me "We don't have flies here". I went up there with my buggy fries and I showed them and I made a big scene since there were a lot of people and I wanted everyone to know what kind of place that was. At least they could have given me a free meal or something, then I wouldn't have been so mad
 
A fly just dropped dead into my cousin's shake once, that was pure hilarious. xD

And hair? Nope, never had that to me. Seriously.
 
this whole thread reminds me of the Wendy's incident with the finger in the chili...which ended up being a hoax
