Is it possible to raise the resolution?

[VIII over VII]

I saw the VII mod (which i cant even use, because i have Ultima edition, so i cant patch it properly ) and the graphics looked a lot better, i couldnt find anything on google so i thought i'd try asking here

I would be forever in debt if someone could show me a mod that would do that

Also, any other useful tools, like model/texture editors, i wouldnt mind looking at, because i have been planning to learn 3d modeling for a few months now, and if there is a working editor for FF VIII graphics, i would have an excuse to make myself learn it

I'm not really sure what you're asking/explaining but if it has to do with pirating and downloading a different version of Final Fantasy games on the internet, we are 100% against the discussion of that here at FFF.

My suggestion for you my newbie amigo, go buy SquareSoft's version of FFVIII for the PC or the PS1.
