Is it insane to be much more hung up over a relationship (which wasn't even a relationship technically) that didn't even last a week over a five month relationship which I got out of less than a month ago? Cause I've had a few drinks tonight and I'm watching Chick Flicks.. which is increidibly gay, I know... but I'm just not doing well with it. I feel like a moron.

meh. You probably pushed the 5 month thing longer than it should have gone. That's why you didn't really care when it's over. And the 1 week thing. You probably barely got to know her so you didn't find out all the flaws. It sucks man. I know it.

Btw, which chik flik?

What Women Want...

and you might be right. I know all girls have flaws. And the ones I did see in her probably would have come to annoy me more with time. But I still can't help feeling rotten now. Pathetic though that I turn to an FF forum for advice. I dunno... probably just needed a place to rant. And as pathetic as it is, the attention that comes with it.

Want me to come over and kick your ass in Halo 2?

For real though man, give it time. Summer's coming up, school will be off your shoulders, and you still have good years ahead of you.

My saying is that there are 6 Billion people in the world. 3 billion are guys, so forget them; leaving 3 billion girls left over. 1 billion of those 3 are either too old or too young, so you have approximately 2 billion girls still out there to choose from. I think you have great odds.

I'll add more advice (better advice) later but I got some papers to write here real quick.

Dont slam yourself like that. No good comes from it. You feel weak and you look weak when you do that. So don't do that.

And yea, it sucks now. But hell, life always sucks now. I dont know you well enough to know whether you're a here and now think or a past and future. Im going to go here and now thinker. Which means, you won't care at all a month from now cause the past is past and you're interested in what you can get at the moment.

I've never known you to sweat small stuff like this. Let bygones be bygones buddy.

I understand there are other women. Doesn't change the fact that when you find someone, you don't want to keep looking. lol You want that person. If you find a mine filled with diamonds, you don't go off looking for different diamonds just because it might be hard to attain that set. They probably all will be. That's how the good ones are, no?

Dude, just smile. You probably just like the 1 week girl because you didn't know her particularly well in a relationship situation, so didn't pick up on how much of a lying cheat she eventually would become. You're down to your last semester of being in college. Forget about a relationship for the next 6 weeks and enjoy your last days of not being out in the real world. Smiling usually makes that easy.

so didn't pick up on how much of a lying cheat she eventually would become.

Hahaha! I almost spit my drink all over my computer at that one. You know, she's really the most amazing person I've ever met... but thinking about her negatively really does make me feel better. Like... a lot better. I mean, is it really my fault if she's so fucking stupid to pass me up anyhow? lol

Who broke up with who? If she broke up with you, then no it's not insane that you are so hung up on it cause maybe you really liked her. If you broke up with her, then maybe you feel like you've made the wrong decision?

So watching Chick Flicks helps with the break up?

don't worry about it man.. i almost had the same thing happen to me (except we were dating for a month) i know you feel like crap but you'll feel better in a lil bit.. will just be something that you get over in time.. hang in there:)

Truthfully we never dated. We would've but there were extenuating circumstances. Meh, I can't blame her for them... but like I said, being unreasonable makes me feel better.

Yeah man, if she only knew how cool and popular you were on FF forums SHE would be the one who was hung up about this breakup.:smartass:

But seriously now folks, don't think negatively of her, she's not a BAD person. Just don't let it be a big deal. If anything, the girl will start wondering how you care so little about her rejection and maybe be interested a little. Girls love guys that don't care.

Aztec.
I think you're being immature about the situation.
Honestly, I think it was a horrible idea to post this thread here and you know why I am saying this. Just keep it in mind. Don't be a stupid emo kid cause you're not.

lol I suppose it was naive to hope she wouldn't see or you wouldn't realize to whom I referred. C'est la vie. You're right, MR. As are you Fields. My good friends.... thank you. I can't blame her for the circumstances. I just can't help my feelings either. And it's why I posted the passion topic... and the stalker topic... I just can't get it off my mind. The alcohol helps though.

As good as it might make you feel, thinking negatively of her is really low... If you really care about her so much then maybe you should stop selfishly thinking about what you want and be happy with what makes her happy... Lying to your self by thinking negativley of her really isn't going to get you far before you're right back where you started... Either you don't know her good enough to think and say all the negative things you have about her or you know she's better than that and still think/say the oppisite
