i know its a game and everything but, how did the blitzball players learn 2 hold their breath for like, an hour???
is it some sort of super spira race where they can breath under water???

Months of training, a fantasy world...it doesn't have to be all that realistic. It could be that the 'water' really isn't water at all but some kind of breathable liquid or something. So many possibilities.
