Introducing... Jaeluxx (mog knight?)

Salutations! I was so happy to find this site. I'm a FF purist (ie I don't play other video games). Although I've played the newer titles, my current favorites are: Final Fantasy I, II, IV, V, IV, VII, Tactics Advance. I prefer the GBA, NES, SNES versions the most. I just got the Final Fantasy Unlimited thinpak boxed set in the mail today and am definitely loving it. The artwork is wonderful and the story (so far is great). I also have Advent Children and (unfortunately) the Spirits Within. In other news: I completely refuse to play ROMs and don't like a lot of the remakes (with GBA as an exception). Looking forward to the newest installment for the PS3 (which I will need to buy just for the sake of playing the newest FF titles). My other interests: Thom Yorke, Radiohead, Bleach, Death Note, and other select anime and manga. Looking forward to meeting some of you!

P.S. I intend to join the RPG as well. I know I'll have to have a grand total of 50 posts before doing so, but I'm going to start thinking of a character and backstory for the time being.

Welcome to the forums, apparently the remeake of IV on the DS is the same difficulty as the original Japanese release, so not actually a watered down re-release, although it DOES have the shiny graphics. Might be worth a look in, I thought it as fantastic
