So, those of you who have found the glitch (FF Wiki = <3!), how many of you actually use it?

I use it whenever the boss in question is someone I already killed, and I'm refighting because I'm an idiot and I forget to save. Which means, very often.
 
Grah.... since when are we allowed to advertise it... oh well. It's not a glitch, just strategy in my opinion. Now that that has been clarified...

It's pretty simple. You know how spells (Doom in particular) are one-shot KO, so doesn't work on bosses? Well, there's a way around that. By casting Vanish on a boss, you turn it so any magic attack has a 100 % chance to hit including Doom. There ya go. Go nuts. Though, if you want to experiment, Break doesn't work.
 
The only boss I ever made a habit of using it on was Wrexsoul. And only then because he can be a bastard. Just make sure you don't use it against Doom Gaze. If you do, he won't drop the Bahamut magicite.
 
Sweet, thanks for the glitch! And I don't remember getting a magicite from Wrexsoul. What version were you playing? (@CassinoChips)

He was talking about Doom Gaze. He was saying that if you use it on Doomgaze, you don't get a Magicite.

And thanks for that Jesse! I like Bahamut far too much to skip him.
 
I've used this before, but I'd suggest that you only use this when you are absolutely desperate. You can't use it on every boss. I don't think it works on the boss at the top of the Cultist's Tower, and I also don't think that it works on Kefka. Using it on other bosses may seem sneaky and such but you'll be slapped in the face when you get to the bosses which this glitch doesn't work on, and find yourself under-levelled.

What I would do is to combine this glitch with your training. Going to Dinosaur Forest and killing the dinosaurs using this can be quite a good way to train and master abilities.
 
I ocasionally used it with Intangir because he comes ready for it and that fight may actually get out of hand when you can fight it.

Different glitch. This is Vanish-Doom, or Vanish-X-Zone.

You can get the capability to use it in the World of Balance, I'm pretty sure, since you get.... either Shoat or Phantom.... pretty early on. (Whichever one has Bio, Break, and Doom on it.)
 
I made use of it to get a perfect rate of acquiring two Dragon Claws from that Whelk thing in Darill's Tomb. And having gau use Rhodox rage on Intangir.
