Kingdom of Alexandria (

The Kingdom of Alexandria is the oldest Kingdom in the Mist Continent, it having been founded around 806 GSC (Gaian Solar Calendar). Since then, the nation had grown to become one of the three superpowers of Gaia, albeit trailing behind technologically behind Lindblum and Oeilvert. Despite this, Alexandria is known for its serene atmosphere and it matriarchal soicety. The Queen had ruled as the Head of State for Alexandria since its founding, a feature that has not changed in over 800 years.

The current ruling monarch is Queen Garnet Til Alexandros XVII. A Benevolent, if Self-Depreciating ruler, Garnet spearheaded the projects of peaceful expansion throughout the world, and along with her husband and King-Consort, Zidane Tribal, helped in the restoration of the former village of the Summoners, Mardain Sari.

Since becoming Queen in March 1800 and marrying Zidane in February 1801, the ruling family produced two children, 12 year old, Sarah Cornelia Alexandros I, Princess and Heir-apparent to the throne, and 6 year old Kuja Garlandios Alexandros, styled as Prince of Treno.

-Dali

The Village of Dali is a farming community, producing many foodstuffs for the Kingdom of Alexandria. During the Mist Continental War (another name for Bhrane's War), Dali was used in the production of the Black Mages, many of whom escaped to what would be the Black Mage Village. Dali still has an industry of making engines and weapons for Alexandria, but it remains a small scale project.

Morrid's Old Tower was renovated after Morrid's Death when the Iifa Tree went berserk. In addition, the airship docks were expanded, making Dali the Third Largest Airship dock on the Continent and 6th Largest in the world (behind Esto Gaza, Daguerro, Alexandria, Oeilvert and Lindblum)

Treno is the second largest city in the Kingdom of Alexandria. The city goes by many names, three of the most popular names are the "City of Nobles" due to the fact that the majority of the Alexandrian Nobility resides in Treno, as well as the "Sleepless City" due to the exuberant nightlife the city holds. Another name for the city, which became its official nickname is "Dark City" due to the almost perpetual state of Darkness for where the city is founded on.

Treno is economically polarized, having no middle class. The city is divided between the rich upper class, the nobles, aristocrats and capitalists who live on the waterfront, and the poor and downtrodden lower class who lives in the city slums. As a result, Treno is often the sight of Liberalist views and equality.

Many events take place in the city itself, including the Tera Master Tournament and the new and slowly up and coming sport, the Chocobo Grand Prix, which only recently began 12 years ago.

Regency of Lindblum:

The Regency of Lindblum is the most populated nation in Gaia. Lindblum was originally a Kingdom until the last King of Lindblum died in battle during the Ninth Lindblum-Alexandrian War (1389-1398) where he was defeated and killed by then 13 year old General Magdalene. The winner of the Festival of the Hunt, a Young Cid Fabool became the Regent of Lindblum until the heir came of age, but after the heir's death, Cid Fabool, while de Jure was still the Regent, was de facto the ruling Monarch to the Lindblumite throne.

The current ruling monarch is Regent Cid Fabool IX. He has selected an heir in his adopted daughter, Eiko, who if when she becomes regent would be known as Eiko Fabool-Carol I.

Known as the Grand Castle, due to the illusion that Lindblum was one gigantic castle, it is but a ruse, as the entire city resides within the walls of the outer castle, whereas the inner castle, where the Regent and his family resides, also houses the Lindblum Shipyards and is the primary headquarters of the Royal Lindblum Air Force, the largest and most advanced Airship Fleet in the world.

Kingdom of Burmecia (Konungariket Burvrige):

The Kingdom of Burmecia is one of the few Kingdoms in the Mist Continent to be located under the mist. The mist, responsible for its long periods of rain gave the city it's official nickname, "The Realm of Eternal Rain"

Burmecia suffered several tragedies during the Mist Continental War. It was wiped out almost completely by Alexandria on January 19, 1800 and suffered the loss of it's King, Stanislas during the Siege of Cleyra 4 days later. The city was completely rebuilt following the War and the subsequent crisis with Kuja under a regency.

The current ruler of Burmecia is King Puck, who assumed the throne on June 6, 1812 on his 16th Birthday, his spouse and Queen-consort is Lilly Crescent, the youngest daughter of famed Dragon Knights, Fratley and Freya Crescent.

Republic of Cleyra (Republikken Clyra):

The Republic of Cleyra was the successor state to the old Theocratic State, which ended with the death of the Cleyran High Priest in the Siege of Cleyra. Cleyra, established in 1389 after a Civil War led to the dissolvement of relations between Cleyra and Burmecia, went on to become the first Republican government in Gaian history. Despite earlier grievances, Burmecia and Cleyra continued to forged a friendly relationship with each other.

With help from books found in Daguerro, the survivors of Cleyra over time managed to restore the great tree, and thus recreate the settlement larger than before. With the influx of people coming from around the world, the Cleyran "baby boom," and the peace shared between the nations of the world, Cleyra no longer needed a sandstorm to protect itself. In its place was an even larger settlement that circled the tree, allowing its people to live comfortable lives. Cleyra, while still the smallest of the four kingdoms in terms of population, literally tripled its population since the Mist Continental War.

Cleyra is an Administrative Republic, relying to a great extent on strict organization on political matters and the bureaucracy to effectively run their government. Its leader, the Stadtholder is Samuel, who was only but recently elected to the position.

Outer Continent:

Conde Petie:

The City-State of Conde Petie is an independent nation that holds some sway over the western half of the Outer Continent. The City State holds control over the Mountain Path that links the Outer Continent with the Island of Madain Sari.

Conde Petie is a Free State, a Democracy of sorts, with a population consisting entirely of Dwarves. Two of the nations primary icons is the kirkboat, where the people of Conde Petie get married, and the Sanctuary, also known as the Iifa Tree, and is shown evidently in the state flag.

Port Iifa was one of the new towns built after the Mist Continental War and the Kuja Crisis. As the sole port city in the Outer Continent, Iifa delivers much needed supplies from the Mist Continent and Forgotten Continent states via Ship, much of which is delivered to the Black Mage Village, where Airship travel is inaccessible.

Port Iifa got its name from the Iifa Tree, of which the Port city is located on a small Peninsula to the northwest of the Iifa Tree. Many an adventurer travels to the foot of the Iifa Tree to prove themselves worthy of being warriors.

Mardain Sari (
マダイン・サリ帝国/Madain Sari Teikoku):

The City-State of Madain Sari is located on an island north of the Outer Continent. Formerly known as the Village of the Summoners, Madain Sari is now home to the largest population of Moogles, although humans from both Alexandria and Lindblum, at the behest of their respective monarchs, live here to begin the reconstruction of the village, while preserving the architecture.

Unlike the other city states, Alexandria and Lindblum assists in the jurisdiction of the city as a joint protectorate.

Nation of the Black Mages:

The Nation of the Black Mages is a small city state located in the forest and mountains to the South of the Conde Petie Mountain Path. The Black Mage Village has a population consisting mostly of artificial beings, both Black Mages originally created in Dali, and after the Kuja Crisis, the Genomes originally from Terra. The Terran Spring led to most of the Genomes leaving the Village, some assisting in the founding of Oeilvert and Ipsen, while others leaving to stake their claims in the reconstruction efforts in Madain Sari and the establishment of a new city in the Outer Continent.

The Nation is led by a Duumvirate, the Black Mages Led by Black Mage No. 2552, the Genomes led by King Zidane's perceived younger sister, Mikoto.

Fossil Roo Settlement:

The Fossil Roo Settlement is a newly refurbished tunnel network system, made from the roots of Iifa Tree. This system connects the Qu's Marsh-Mist Continent (in the Regency of Lindblum) with the Outer Continent outside the Black Mage Village. The only way to get to the two locations is by a large mole-cricket type creature known as the Gargant. As a result, this route is widely used by people trying to get to and from the Outer Continent.

There is a small mining town located within the roots underneath the Ocean between the two Continents, this mining town is usually a detour for those wanting to go and mine for precious jewels, but there are those who wish to live there for the serene atmosphere.

The Albion Union is a newly established democratic republic, established in 1809 by Lindblumite ex-patriots, mixed with Genomes and Black Mages from the Black Mage village. Centered around the interior city of Albion, it is a federal government that is to represent the people from all walks of life. (More to be added soon)

Forgotten Continent:

Oeilvertian Empire (Empire d'Oeilvert):

The Oeilvertian Empire is considered by many within its borders as the successors to Terra's Legacy. Situated around the ruins from Terra's first attempt at fusing with Gaia 5,000 years ago, Oeilvert would be settled almost exclusively by Genomes. Its early history since its founding in 1805 was marked by the Oeilvert Civil War, fought by varying factions across Oeilvert and much of the Forgotten Continent over who would be claim the Oeilvertian throne. Ten years of conflict ended with the rise of an enigmatic genome, not well known by even their own people, going by the name of Lord Cyril. While Cyril's intentions are ambiguous at best, his objective is clear, to establish Oeilvert as the dominant nation in the world.

Kingdom of Ipsen (

The Kingdom of Ipsen is the second largest Kingdom in the Forgotten Continent, nicknamed "The Alexandria of the Forgotten Continent." The nation was founded shortly after the Genomes receiving souls as a result of the "Terran Spring" in 1802. Unlike Oeilvert who spent its early days embroiled in Civil War for power, Ipsen was relatively peaceful, and much of its customs were brought over by settlers mainly from Alexandria.

Ipsen, like Alexandria has their own version of the Pluto Knights, but little is known about them or their customs.

The Ruling Monarch of Ipsen is a Genome, Lord Alphonse. Unlike his brother and Oeilvert's ruler, Lord Cyril, Alphonse is more of a Diplomat than a General, and prefers to better his standing with the world through talk and not through action.

Serene Republic of Daguerreo (La

The Serene Republic of Daguerreo, also known as the Secret Library and the Hermit's Library is located in the Southern part of the Forgotten Continent. Like Cleyra, it is a Republic, albeit one focused on Trade and Commerce rather than Administration and Bureaucracy. Anyone can run for office, regardless of race, unlike Cleyra where only a Cleyran can become Stadtholder.

Daguerreo, being located in a cave on an island protected by high cliffs make it inpregnable to all but those who use airships. As a result, Daguerreo has their own airship fleet, though it is the smallest in the world to protect the Library from attack. The ruler is known as the Duce, and since its foundation as an official nation in 1809, the current Duce is a Burmecian by the name of Louis-Jacques Daguere. Louis-Jacques is known to be a survivor from the Siege of Burmecia and moved to Daguerreo after the Kuja Crisis. It was he who helped introduce Daguerreo to the world and established it as a trading nation.

Lost Continent:

Archbishopric of Esto Gaza (

The Archbishopric of Esto Gaza is a religious nation, the sole nation on the Lost Continent. Once one of two Theocracies, Esto Gaza was the main location, the final stop of the pilgrimage to the Shimmering Isles. Located at the foot of Mount Gulug, another pilgrimage site. Esto Gaza was largely neutral in any conflicts, although they have moved towards establishing a defense force.

The Archbishop of Esto Gaza is the first female Archbishop, Lady Lucretia.

ca 4000 BCE:
Planet Gaia is created

Garland is created

ca 3000 BCE:
Terra attempts to assimilate the young planet of Gaia, but Gaia's crystal rejected the Fusion with disastrous results. Gaia's surface was left in ruin and its civilizations were wiped out. Terra itself ended up warping inside the planet of Gaia, and only its red moon remained and moved on Gaia's orbit, giving the planet two moons. Many Terran locations also ended up shifting on the planet of Gaia, such as the Desert Palace, Oeilvert, Ipsen’s Castle, and Mt. Gulug. The Shimmering Islands is formed as a gateway between the two worlds.

1200 BCE:
Garland begins to construct Genomes to serve as vessels for the sleeping Terran souls once the Fusion would be complete.

1 CE:
Gaia's environment is recovering and the Shimmering Island begins to shine, marking the beginning of Gaia's modern civilization. The calendar begins.

806:
The Kingdom of Alexandria is founded with King Alexander I Thessalonikos as its first King.

1066:
The Kingdom of Lindblum is founded with its first King being Edward I Lind. The King Edward Plains are named in his honor.

1200:
Garland creates the soul divider, the SoulCage, to the Iifa Tree's base to stop the Gaian souls from returning to their crystal, and replacing them with Terran elements instead. The Iifa Tree's roots that circle around the entire planet beneath its surface begin to expel the rejected souls on the Mist Continent, a process that manifests itself as Mist, thus giving the continent the name it's known by the time of the game. Monsters begin appearing and the mist has a hardening effect on the civilisation that, by that time, had taken root on the Mist Continent. The population succumbs into warfare and the ruling kingdoms collapse in continuous wars. The Kingdom of Burmecia (founded 970) is the sole surviving Kingdom to survive the onslaught intact.

1337:
The Eidolon Alexander is summoned for the first time in Alexandria, but the summoning experiment goes wrong and the summoners are unable to control it. Being deemed too dangerous, Alexander is extracted from its summoner and its gemstone is split into four crystals. One crystal piece is given to each of the three ruling kingdoms of the Mist Continent, the Kingdom of Alexandria, the Kingdom of Lindblum and the Kingdom of Burmecia, while a fourth would be kept by the summoners who migrate to the Outer Continent and found the city of Mardain Sari to continue their research into Eidolons.

1376:
Magdalene, the Greatest Alexandrian General in history, is born.

1383-1389:
The Burmecian Civil War: A war is fought over the crystal between the Burmecian King and fundamentalist clergymen. The Clergymen won several battles in the western half of the Kingdom, which secedes from Burmecia to form the Archbishopric of Cleyra. The war ends in status quo, with both nations recognizing their shared lands as part of their countries.

1385-1389
Ninth Lindblum War: War broke out between the Kingdom of Alexandria and the Kingdom of Lindblum involving the nascent Duchy of Treno. Magdalene, the youngest General of Alexandrian History, with nine knights on her side, face off against a Lindblumite Army of roughly 5,000 in the King Edward Plains. The result leads to a complete and decisive victory for the Alexandrian Army, including the death of the last Lindblumite King, Richard II Lind. The Peace of Dali led to the annexation of Treno into Alexandria.

1389:
The 139th Annual Festival of the Hunt, which determined who would rule the country as regent for the 6 year old Henry IV, was won by Cid Fabul I. Henry IV would later die in 1391, leaving Cid as permanent de facto ruler of Lindblum, and establishing the Fabulian dynasty.

1401:
General Magdalene dies at the age of 25.
Alexandria adopts a matriarchal society riding on her success and eventual death.

1601:
Fifteenth Lindblum War: The Kingdom of Lindblum declares war against the Kingdom of Alexandria. This is the first war where new technologies are implemented including the use of magic. The war ends in a status quo brokered by the Archbishopric of Cleyra

1625:
The city of Daguerreo is founded

1640:
The Archbishopric of Esto Gaza, founded by humans who have converted to a new faith known as Gulugism is founded in the Lost Continent.

1701:
Alexandrian War of Succession: War is fought between various nobles over the right to the Alexandrian throne after the death of the last member of the house of Thessalonikos. The victory went to the Alexandros faction with Garnet XV ruling as Queen of the Kingdom.

1709:
Cleyra adopts an isolationist path, severing all foreign relations with the rest of the world.

1710:
November 20: Zorn and Thorn are born.

December 10: Quina Quen is born.

1740:
July 13: Doctor Frederick Tot is Born

1755:
July 9: Baku Granby is born

1756:
June 28: Cid VIII accedes to the throne of Lindblum, and begins development of the first mist-powered airship.

1760:

January 5: Kuja is created by Garland as a result of the prolonged period of peace in the land.

Cid IX begins the development of a non-mist powered airship

1784:

Kuja, jealous of his younger brother Zidane, kidnaps him and abandons him to die in the fields near the Kingdom of Lindblum. He is found and raised by Baku and the Tantalus Theater Troupe

1790:
June 1: The Sacking of Mardain Sari: The Invincible, a Terran Airship, annihilates the city of Mardain Sari. Roughly 80% of the population perishes. The remaining members either stay and die off or move to other cities. Jane and Sarah, two of the survivors make their way to Alexandria, the former dying along the way. Sarah is adopted by Queen Bhrane XVI and King Alexander II of Alexandria as the new Queen Garnet XVII after their daughter died of illness. The Bishop and her sister is carried off to Esto Gaza.

September 8: Atalanta E.K. Palaiologos is born

1800: Final Fantasy IX
January 8: Kuro sent to the world of Gaia, where he is left there. Gaffgarion would go on to train him to become a mercenary.

-Mist Continental War (Divided into two phases, the Bhrane War [January 15-February 3] and the Kuja crisis [February 6-March 16]

January 15: It is Princess Garnet's 16th birthday, with celebrations including I Want to Be Your Canary performed by Tantalus. She is "kidnapped" by the troupe, while trying to escape herself. The Queen, having come aware of the plot, orders the cannons to fire at the Theater Ship MV Prima Vista, which crash-lands in the Evil Forest, with Zidane, Steiner, Vivi and Princess Garnet, as well as the members of Tantalus, inside. After the event, Queen Brahne sends the Black Waltzes to retrieve Garnet's pendant, the fragment of Alexander's summoning gem, she was wearing during her escape.

January 16:
The party escapes the Evil Forest. Blank sacrifices himself to save the group and is petrified along with the entire forest.

January 18:
Zidane, Garnet, Vivi and Steiner eventually find their way to Dali, where they witness the production of Black Mages and steal the cargo ship to get to Lindblum. Black Waltz No. 3 gives chase to the party, but crashes its ship within the South Gate, damaging it.

January 19:
Battle of Burmecia: The Kingdom of Alexandria launches a preemptive strike on the neighboring Kingdom of Burmecia

January 20:
The 550th Annual Festival of the Hunt is held in Lindblum. Zidane, Vivi and Freya all compete, Zidane's plan to impress the princess by winning the hunt. After the festivities they hear that Burmecian capital has been attacked by Alexandrian forces. Garnet leaves the others, along with Steiner, to go back to Alexandria to confront her mother. The pair makes their way towards Treno. On the way they meet up with Marcus from Tantalus, who is seeking for a way to cure Blank.

January 21: Battle of Burmecia ends with
Burmecia being conquered and annexed into the Alexandria. Bhrane proclaims the new Alexandrian Empire. Zidane, Freya, Vivi and Quina make their way to the Burmecian capital where they see Kuja for the first time, and overhear him talking with the queen. The party ends up fighting General Beatrix Seydlitz, who defeats them. Kuja departs for Treno on his Silver Dragon.

January 22:
Princess Garnet and Steiner are captured after returning to Alexandria, and Zorn and Thorn put her to sleep. She is placed within the dungeons while they wait for the extraction of her Eidolons. Zidane's party make their way to Cleyra to look for the Burmecian survivors, and to warn them of Brahne, who they know is planning to attack Cleyra next. The party enters Cleyra, but its sandstorm suddenly disappears.

January 23:
Zorn and Thorn extract Garnet's Eidolons.

January 23: Battle of Cleyra: Alexandria attacks Cleyra and the Black Mage army teleports to the city from the queen's flagship, the SMS Red Rose. Sir Fratley makes an appearance protecting the city against the Black Mages, but suffers from amnesia and doesn't remember ever having known Freya. Beatrix steals the crystal fragment after which the Black Mages begin warping out of the city. Zidane and the others jump into one of the teleporters leaving Quina behind. Queen Brahne summons Odin and annihilates Cleyra.

January 24: Zidane, Freya, and Vivi return to Alexandria where they meet up with Steiner and help the Princess escape. Marcus is freed along with Steiner and heads to the Evil Forest to save Blank. Beatrix switches sides after having learned that the queen wants to harm the princess. Steiner sticks around with Beatrix and Freya to help hold back the Bandersnatches, while Vivi, Garnet and Zidane escape through the Gargan Roo.

January 25: Sack of Lindblum:
Garnet acquires the Ramuh Eidolon on the Pinnacle Rocks and makes for Lindblum. On her way there, however, she sees her mother summon Atomos on Lindblum, destroying a great part of it. The Invincible sucks the dying souls from the city, disappearing afterwards. Alexandrian soldiers enter the city and take temporary control and Queen Brahne acquires Lindblum's crystal piece. Sometime around this time Queen Brahne hires Lani and Amarant to hunt down Garnet and bring back her pendant, and also to kill Vivi.

January 26-30: The party travels to Outer Continent in their attempt to find Kuja and reunite with Quina in the process. They find a village full of sentient Black Mages, who have escaped the Alexandrian army after gaining consciousness. Vivi learns that the Black Mages' lifespan is limited and many Black Mages have already died. The party meets up with Eiko Carol who takes them to the ruins of Madain Sari and promises to undo the seal on the Iifa Tree.

January 30:
The party defeat SoulCage on the Iifa Tree's base stopping the flow of mist making airship travel impossible. Lani attempts to steal Madain Sari's crystal fragment, but is stopped. Amarant abandons his partner and joins Zidane's party.

February 1:The party gets separated from Quina who is left behind when the others set foot on the Iifa Tree. Kuja arrives at the Iifa Tree followed shortly by Queen Brahne and her fleet. Brahne feels she no longer needs Kuja's assistance and summons Bahamut to kill him, but Kuja calls upon the Invincible to bend the Eidolon's will and orders it to attack Brahne's fleet. Brahne is killed when Bahamut blasts her ship, but not before she can speak to Garnet one last time and apologizes for everything she has done.

February 3:
Alexandria restores Burmecia and Lindblum’s sovereignty and declares a cession of hostilities. With the mist gone from the world, the production of new Black Mages becomes impossible. Kuja, realizing this, makes for the Black Mage Village and persuades them to help him in his cause, under the condition that he will grant them longer life-spans. Only a few stay behind.

February 6:Brahne is buried in Alexandria and Garnet is preparing for her coronation as Queen of Alexandria in three days. Zidane, Eiko, Vivi and Freya travel to Treno that is holding a Tetra Master card tournament, which Zidane wishes to participate. During their time away Kuja attacks Alexandria with Bahamut. The party travel to Alexandria on Cid's new airship, HMLS Hilda Garde II, and Garnet and Eiko meet at the top of the Alexandrian Castle where they summon Alexander by bringing the four crystal fragments together. Alexander destroys Bahamut and Kuja, impressed by its sheer power, attempts to capture it with the Invincible, but Garland has other plans. Garland uses the Invincible to destroy Alexander and Alexandria is decimated, though Kuja, Zidane, Garnet and Eiko make it out just in time. Kuja, now openly defying his master, returns to the Desert Palace vowing to find an Eidolon even stronger than Alexander.

February 9:
The day Garnet's coronation was supposed to take place.

February 10:
The party gathers in the rebuilding Lindblum, but Garnet has lost her voice due to the shock of Alexandria's destruction. The party reunites with Quina.

February 11:The party decides to find Kuja, but is left stranded without an airship, as Hilda Garde 2 was too poorly built due to Cid having designed it while being an Oglop. In order to complete the new type of airship (the Hilda Garde 3), an attempt is made to revert Cid to human, but it fails, and he turns into a frog.

February 12-15:The HLMS Blue Narciss sets sail and this time Cid accompanies them. Zidane and company arrive at the Desert Palace, and are captured by Kuja. Kuja forces Zidane into retrieving the Gulug Stone from Oeilvert on the Forgotten Continent, threatening to kill the rest of the party if he doesn't comply. After acquiring the stone Kuja kidnaps Eiko and flees on the HLMS Hilda Garde I with the Black Mages accompanying him.

February 17:
Zidane and his friends catch up with Kuja at the bottom of Mount Gulug. Kuja is determined of getting an Eidolon stronger than Alexander and orders Zorn and Thorn to extract Eiko's Eidolons despite her being considered too young to survive the process. Eiko's moogle, Mog, appears and defends Eiko by entering Trance and transforming into the Eidolon Madeen. Zorn and Thorn are defeated and Kuja flees, forming a new plan. Having witnessed the power of the Trance with his own eyes, Kuja decides he doesn't need an Eidolon to fight Garland after all. The party then rescues Queen Hilda and gain access to Hilda Garde I.

February 18:
Hilda is reunited with Cid and turns him back into a human. Hilda tells the party Kuja is not originally from Gaia. Cid begins work on the HLMS Hilda Garde III.

February 19:Garnet travels back to Alexandria to visit her mother's grave, cuts her hair and gets her voice back.

February 21: Hilda Garde 3 is completed and sets sail.

February 22:The party visits the four shrines to open the gateway to Terra.

February 24:The party travels through the opened gate to Terra.

February 24-28:Kuja also arrives on Terra. While Zidane travels through the alien planet, Kuja hides in the Invincible, waiting for his time. Zidane and the party learn of Garland's plan to fuse the two planets and of Zidane's heritage as a Genome. The party ultimately defeats Garland, and Kuja taps into the flow of souls through the Invincible, and achieves the Trance he has been looking for. Garland, with his last breath, informs Kuja that his life is limited. This throws Kuja into an uproar, and he completely destroys Terra with his Trance powers. Zidane and the Genomes of Bran Bal take the Invincible and head back to Gaia.

March 1: The Iifa Tree activates and sends mist to cover the entire world. Iifa Tree's roots go wild and cause earthquakes, leaving many areas in ruin.

March 3:Mist-run mechanisms become usable again.

March 4:
Memoria has formed above the Iifa Tree. A swarm of silver dragons appears, flying out of the Iifa Tree. The Genomes begin to settle in Black Mage Village.

March 5: Battle of the Iifa Tree: The party head toward Memoria and kill the Nova Dragon, the source of all the silver dragons, and all the silver dragons disappear.

March 5-9:The party travel to the Crystal World where they find and defeat Trance Kuja and Necron while learning of the crystal and the world's origins. After defeating Necron the realm begins crumbling apart, but Kuja uses his power to teleport the party out of the Iifa Tree and informs Mikoto of their whereabouts. When the airship fleet arrives to rescue the heroes, everyone but Zidane leaves on the Hilda Garde 3. Zidane heads after Kuja in an attempt to attempt to save him. Zidane manages to find him but the Iifa Tree goes berserk, flailing and trashing violently, and Zidane goes missing.

March 16: Iifa Tree settles.

April 23: Garnet is coroneted Queen of Alexandria.

Personality:
The Bishop can be described simply as a proud warrior, yet cruel and sadistic. She often takes pride in causing people pain, be it friend or foe. Nicknamed "Cyril's Tormentor" she is often seen as a cruel monster, wanting to cause physical and emotional pain on anyone who crosses her.

Rose is proud, and is one who does not like to lose. For that reason, she would resort to dirty tactics to ensure victory, and sacrifice anyone who would just so happen to be close by. That's not to say she doesn't have a soft side, as she happens to be in love with Lord Cyril of Oeilvert, despite the man being 6 years her senior. She is willing to do anything for him, and that is what drives her to serve him as his Lord-General.

The Bishop's weapon is the Grand Cypress Pile. Standing at about 3 feet tall, the Cypress Pile is a wooden Staff with a series of rings at one end. At the second rung of rings lay a green gem them emanates a radiates a glorious green light. While the Bishop uses the Staff as a melee weapon and to summon her creatures, The Bishop is capable of using magic using only her bare hands, and is also a capable fist fighter shown to augment her physical strength with her magic to a degree.

Leonide has long black hair with a series of bangs in the front of his head. The black hair has some purple highlights in the front of it as well. Alexandre has sea blue eyes and a pale, almost feminine complextion. Leonide is fairly plain and skinny in appearance. He also has a white tail, a common feature among genomes. The reason for his white tail despite his black hair is due to him dying his hair black.

In terms of attire, Leonide prefers wearing all black. His attire consists of a black short-sleeved cotton shirt, with the sleeves extending to his elbows, black long pants made of leather, and black shoes. Leonide also wears a combat breastplate as well, allowing him to protect from flintlock muskets and certain rifles. He also wears the breastplate to hide other feminine features such as breasts.

Personality:
The Magic Knight is well mannered and generally level-headed figure who strides to uphold his duties to his country. Leonide generally refers to himself as a male despite having both male and female features, and despite such tolerance for those of his particular conditions. Despite this, the Magic Knight can be made rather uncomfortable with attention in the romantic aspect and is largely naieve to love and relationships, the sole exception being his doting behavior towards his younger sister Cerise.

In battle, Leonide remains calm and collected, rarely letting his emotions get to him, though if he is enraged he is not willing to stop until the person is dead or he is restrained. He is respectful of people above his station as well as those will great skill in battle, and is not above respecting his opponent. Because he follows the code of knighthood, he often pledges to defend the weak and aid them whenever they require it.

-Elemental Augmentation and Elemental Shield:
Leonide has a special ability that allows for him to utilize the four natural elements of Air, Earth, Water and Fire. He can use this ability to augment his blade with one of the four elements, thus allowing him to deal elemental damage with his blades. He can also create shields made of the various elements that would allow him to defend himself from magical attacks.
-Earth-Elemental: The Earth Element allows Leonide to damage opponents with Powerful Earth-elemental Physical Attacks. The Earth-Elemental Shield can absorb Earth-Elemental Attacks, as well as cancel out All but the most powerful Attacks, except for Wind, Holy and Shadow-elemental Attacks. His weapon of choice is his rapier, known as the "Joyeuse." it is a silver-colored blade shape in the form of a rapier. Magic Knight, in addition to using magic from his hands, can infuse any of the four elements with his blade (Red for Fire, Blue for Water, Green for Wind and Orange for Earth), granting the blade unique characteristics and abilities.

In addition to this, he is also trained in the use of flintlock pistols, though he seldom uses them in battle.

Leonide was born in Bran Bal, in Terra. His birth was most unusual, as he was part of an experiment conducted by Garland, conceived before he was even an embryo. Through genetic alterations, Leonide was made a Hermaphrodite, having both male and female reproductive organs. But like most Genomes at the time, did not seem to feel different. Like his brethren, his focus was dedicated to the restoration of Terra, but was cut short with Kuja's destruction of Terra and the relocation of his race to the Black Mage Village in Gaia. The subsequent Terran Spring brought souls to the Terran Genomes, and Leonide would soon become, in a way, self-aware.

Leonide would spend his time exploring the world from his home village. Where he would come to terms and help raise her sister, Cerise. It is also there that he would get a taste of learning Black Magic from the Black Mages. Both of them eventually became one of the first travelers to head to Oeilvert with Mikoto.

The Pirate stands at 5'6" and weighs roughly 155 lbs. His hair is as white as the snow and is very spiky, with a few bangs of hair around his forehead. He has piercing ruby-red eyes and a fair complexion. The Pirate is not overly muscular but is well toned for the rigors of high-paced and mobile combat, more so on a ship.

The Pirate's attire is a black longcoat with gold lining around theend of his sleeves and at the bottom of the jacket. Down the back is a crimson red stripe. At the center of his jacket is a Skull and Bones, the bones crisscrossing the skull.

Personality:
The Pirate is, in the words of some, "The ultimate free spirit". In the words of others, "Crazy." Although his loyalty is seemingly towards Lord Cyril, his main concern is his own personal freedom. Because he lashes out at people who restrict his freedom, he is one of the few Lord Generals to have a personal degree of autonomy outside the Oeilvert military.

Abilities:
Scatter Shot: By using a specialized round, the Pirate can fire his Pistol in a manner similar to a shotgun, dealing high damage at close range.

Armor Piercing Shot: Using a rare conical round, the AP Shot is capable of piercing through any body armor currently put into service.

Snake Eye: Utilizing only his sword, the Pirate is capable of launching quick pace 2 hit-combo using both his sword to thrust into an opponent, followed by swinging his revolver as a club.

Royal Flush: A 4 hit slashing combo aimed towards various parts of the body followed by a shot from his revolver.

Trance:
In Trance Mode, his body turns red and his clothes disappear, replaced with fur on parts of his body. The only exception being a series of straps over his waist where one gun and his sword are holstered. In this mode, he can fire bullets of light from his gun and doesn't need to reload. This makes him a dangerous ranged opponent in battle.

Weapons:
The Pirate's weapons of choice are his Sword, "The Queen of Hearts" and Musket Revolver, the "Ranger." The Queen of Hearts is a 2 foot long Cutlass that is sharp to the edge. The blade has a black grip and has a crimson-stained center surrounding the edges of the blade.

The Ranger is a Revolver that fires 16mm lead balls, as well as other specialized ammo, including the 20-mm pellet round and the Conical 15-mm Rifled round. Because of the special use and the longer reloading period, the Pirate carries 4 on his person. Unlike most other firearms of the period, the Ranger carries 6 bullets for rapid fire.

Puck stands at a tall 7 feet and weighs a full 180 lbs. As a Burmecian, his bodily features are similar to those of mice, having brown colored fur, and a mouse like face and tail.

As King of the Burmecians, Puck wears the traditional Burmecian robes, a grass green jacket with purple pauldrons on his shoulder and a purple leather/clay tile plate on his torso.

Personality:
Puck is a noble, and mature character. Although he is a calm leader, and is well adjusted to the matters of state, he has shown a tendency to delve back into his bad-mouthing self.

Puck places his firm trust in the Crescent family, of which he had idoled since he was a child, and trusts their advice and judgement closely before making his decisions. Unlike his Cleyran counterpart, Puck has firm trust and understanding in the military, as his father has before him.

Samuel has long white hair that extend to the back of his neck and blue eyes. Because of his nature as a Cleyran, he has mouse-like features, including mouse ears, face and a white tail. He stands at 5'5" and weighs roughly around 145 lbs, making him appear skinny.

Samuel's attire consists of attire traditionally found in nobles. His standard attire being a crimson red robe (akin to what cardinals wear) with green lining ordained with patterns colored in yellow.

After the Fall of Cleyra to the Kingdom of Oeilvert, Samuel's attire changed to something more commonly found in adventurers, a black jacket and black pants kept together by a large brown leather belt. Two additional belts crisscross his jacket as well, and usually contain pouches for potions, ethers and the like to assist his personal guard.

Personality:
Samuel is regarded by many to be the "Master Adminstrator." Ever since being elected to the position of Stadtholder, he has used his capable administration skills to expand the bureaucracy and establish post offices to supplant & help Mognet, among others. He lack leadership qualities over military matters and is nervous about the use of military, despite having established the Cleyran military in his tenure. He firmly believes that peace is better attained by the pen rather than the sword, and prefers peaceful negotiation over the loss of lives.

History:
Samuel was born in Cleyra on November 6, 1792. The children of Cleyran clerics who came to Cleyra several years earlier, Samuel learned various foreign languages, arithmetic, history, and science, learning under the enlightened thoughts and minds of people around the Mist Continent.

He was residing in Lindblum at the age of 8 when news of Alexandria's attack on Burmecia and Cleyra was launched. During the attack, his parents died and he was left alone with his mentors in Lindblum. Because it was only a matter of time before he ran out of money to afford his tutors, he packed his belongings and tried to make his name west, eventually leaving the Mist Continent.

His arrival in Daguerreo in April 1800 was what began leading the Cleyran to a life of politics. He was instrumental in bringing enlightenment ideals and began the process of transforming the Hermit Library into a vibrant trading city, a true merchant's republic focused on trade. While he never became it's doge, he used the funds from his building democracy for the restoration of Cleyra.

When Cleyra was restored in 1808, Samuel moved to establish the continent's first republic, rather restoring the theocracy and installing a new high priest. During the first elections in 1809, Samuel became Cleyra's first, and thus far, only Stadtholder of the new Cleyran Republic.

Zidane, despite being in his 30's still maintains some of his youthful appearance. He has shoulder-length blonde hair, blue eyes and a prehensile tail, the latter a typical feature among the Genomes.

His attire in formal gatherings is that of a sky blue robe with the emblem of the House of Alexandros as well as blue trousers and blue shoes. Outside of formal engagements, and usually when out on adventure, he wears a dark purple vest over a white sleeveless shirt and blue pants with several belts around his waist. Over his attire is a black cape with light brown markings on the hood.

Personality:
Zidane has mellowed out since his adventures seventeen years ago. He is still the wisecracking, friendly individual. Often giving advice to others about various aspects of life. He is usually vary cheerful and very happy with his loving wife and two children. He greatly values friendship among all else, and is generally seen as laid-back unless he loses his cool.

-Soul Blade: Using an ability connected to his blade to inflict a poisonous ailment on an opponent.
-Thievery: The Ultimate Thief attack, uses a fake treasure-chest implanted with a bomb to deal a damage to a single-opponent.

Trance:
In trance, His aura turns a vibrant red-pink color as he show fur covering parts of his body. His Skill ability becomes Dyne.

-Tidal Flame: Create a ring of fireballs that homes in on the target whilst traveling along the ground.
-Stellar Circle 5: Creates a tornado of energy around Zidane that draws in the opponent.
-Shift Break: Summon a storm of lightning bolts around opponent to stun and draw them in, then conjure a burst of water under them.
-Free Energy: Create a rune in the air that explodes in a burst of energy.
-Grand Lethal: Summon an aura of energy and spin towards opponents.
-Meo Twister: Throw's daggers forward to strike opponent with beams of energy.

Weapons:
Zidane carry his trademark daggers in case of emergency. In this case, his weapon of choice are his Mage Mashers. These weapons were designed for the purpose of combating enemy mages and as such can be fitting with a poison that is designed to mute an opponent unless a proper cure is used. His Mage Mashers are customized in that they can be combined to form his Thief Sword, The Ogre.

History:
Zidane was born on September 19, 1783 in the city of Bran Bal in the world of Terra. He was born with the intention by Garland to serve as an "Angel of Death," that is to remove Gaia's souls and replace them with the souls of Terra. He was given a full life so that he would develop complex emotions and thus be able to obtain Trance, unlike his elder brother Kuja, who was created as an adult. Kuja's jealousy and rage over Garland creating a superior Genome of him left the four year old Zidane on the Mist Continent, near the Kingdom of Lindblum and abandoned him there where he would be raised under the guiding care of Baku and the Tantalus Theater Troupe.

Twelve Years later, he would undergo a mission started by Regent Cid Fabul of Lindblum to kidnap then-Princess Garnet Til Alexandros XVI, and bring her safely to Lindblum. The events of that day started them down the path to adventure, alongside then Captain Adalbert Steiner, Freya Crescent, Vivi Ouritnia and their comrades. Over the course of their adventures, Zidane met Kuja again and confronted his past and origins on the path to saving the world from Kuja and Necron, but disappeared when he set out to save Kuja.

Zidane returned on Garnet's 17th Birthday, to the jubilant crowds of Alexandria in what she called, "the greatest birthday gift she ever received." They officially married 3 months later, and went on to have two children together, the crown Princess, Sarah and the Duke of Treno, Kuja Garlandios.

Now as King-Consort of Alexandria, Zidane serves as a pillar of support to both his wife, the Queen, their children and the Kingdom of Alexandria.

Eiko has deep greenish-blue eyes and a small heart-shaped face. She has a small summoner's horn on her forehead, and blue hair extending to her back with a ribbon tied into a large bow on the back of her head. She normally wears a white dress with blue trim matching her hair color. When on adventure or during her work as an engineer she wears a pink turtleneck shirt that extends to her midriff and yellow non-sleeved jacket. Underneath the turtleneck is a lighter pink non-sleeved tights. She wears a yellow short pants with various pockets and belts tied to it. Eiko also wears white boots with maroon colored socks and pink stockings.

Personality:
Eiko is best described as spunky and somewhat clingy. Having been raised and made friends with Moogles growing up, she tends to relate to them better than the people here at her home. As the adopted daughter of Regent Cid, she would adopt some of the Regent's mannerisms when it comes to engineering and constructing airships.

-Diamond Light: Creates a light that makes all allies vanish into the shadows.

Trance:
In Trance, Eiko's horn lengthens and gains a sky-blue coloring. Her hair turns light green as her sleeves do. Her hair bow, chest plate, pants, and boots become white, while her turtleneck and tights change to soft purple.

In this form, she has the ability to cast White Magic twice in succession.

Weapons:
Her weapon of choice is known as the Wrench Flute. Her flute was designed by Regent Cid which combines her fixing skills with her ability to channel white magic and summon magic with her flute playing skills. It is grey in design and made to be extremely durable.

History:
Eiko was born in Mardain Sari in March 25, 1793.

His attire consists of a pair of tunics, a black outertunic and a dark gray undertunic underneath that. Cyril wears a pair of mythril shoulder armor over the tunic, and attached to it is a flowing dark cape with a red underside and the Gesalian emblem, the Green Eye of Oeilvert on the back. He wears a pair of adamantite greaves on his wrist which block sword blows and firearms and a pair of leather and bronze knuckles. A utility-styled leather belt is wrapped around his waist, where his twin weapons are held on standby.

Bio-The Blued Winged Knights of Alexandria

The Blue Winged Knights are considered to be Alexandria's finest military unit, formed in 1806 by General Beatrix Steiner. The group was created to hold the best of the best military officers and soldiers and turn it into a unit that operates independently from Alexandrian Military Command, loyal directly to the crown and the state itself rather than the military.

After Beatrix's retirement in late 1815, the position of Commanding Officer was passed to General Gisale Wettin, a Genome with knowledge of military strategy and tactics.

Corselia stands at 5'4" and weighs 115 lbs. With long brown hair and bright, vibrant blue eyes, she and skinny body, she seems more like a spunky young lad, which befits her being the youngest of Cyril's Six Lord-Generals.

Her attire draws many similarities, a cross between a ninja's outfit, a schoolgirl's uniform and a seaman's outfit. She wears a dark blue shirt that stops just above her stomach, revealing her midriff. The shirt has red trim on the sleeve and around her collar. Underneath this is a black t-shirt, again, only covering as far as just above her midriff. Corselia also wears a miniskirt, that doesn't extend as far as just about a third of of the way down her upper leg, with red trim along the edge of the skirt. She also wears a pair of black shoes and socks, allowing her to blend in a fair bit into the night.

Personality:
The Twinsword, being the youngest of Cyril's Six Lord-Generals is probably the more optimistic of the group. However, her optimism is only a facade to hide her own loneliness and insecurities that she had experienced in her past. The Twinsword, having been trained by Ricard's Master along with Ricard, she began to develop feelings for him, and as a result, seems clingy when he is around. Because he is the only one she knows well, Twinsword is often torn between supporting her country and the man he loves (due to him being a soldier of the Royal Alexandrian Army, Oeilvert's enemy)

-Lone Wolf: Twinsword swings one blade upwards to knock them in the air, followed by a flurry of attacks to propel the opponent upward some more before launching a roundhouse kick to knock the opponent back down.

Ninjitsu: Ninjitsu is Corselia's signature attacks, using ninja arts to simulate magic to a degree.

-Utsusemi: Corselia can duplicate her twin swords into multiple copies, allowing her to wield her katana's like makeshift claws.
-Katon: A Fire-elemental spell, can range from a Fire-level to a Firaga-level spell depending on charge time (30 seconds to Fira, 1 minute after for Firaga). It lowers the target's resistance to the Water-element.

In addition to a more powerful version of the 5 moves of the Twinsword Techniques, she has 3 more exclusive to her trance.

-Burning Pheonix: Summoning up her ki for a Fire-elemental attack, Twinsword runs forward and swings her blade upwards, a raging inferno surrounding the opponent.
-Raptor Storm: Summoning up her ki for a Wind-elemental strike, Twinsword strikes her opponent with multiple swings and thrusts, following up with an upward swing and finally kicking the opponent to the ground.
-Divine Wolf's Fury: Using all the power within her, Twinsword strikes multiple opponents with running strikes coming in at multiple angles, using her speed and momentum to cause damage to multiple opponents. It is Twinsword's Signature Attack

Weapons:
Twinsword's weapons are a pair of short Katana named Takatenjin and Nagashino, roughly around 54 cm. The blades are finely crafted and forged from steel. It's smaller size and light weight allows Twinsword to carry two of them at once and use them with such high effectiveness.

In addition, through the use of her ninjitsu, Corselia is able to create 2 additional copies of each katana, which she can carry each between her fingers as makeshift claws.

Corselia Aurore Kasertis was born into slavery in Treno, and as such did not know much about the world around her. Her masters were quite abusive, and did every to assault and humiliate her birth mother and father. Her father died when she was 8 years old
