ETHER
the first born and master of creation
As he typically appears before those who pray to him
Ether was created long before the worlds came into being. Or perhaps he was never born... but simply awakened.
An ethereally beautiful God, for which the vast amounts of uninhabited space in our universe is named. Ether span the worlds into creation to test his power and became both delighted and intrigued by the life he spawned. Upon these worlds, he formed what became known as the Elements.
He created landmasses and plantlife. He dug vast ditches and filled them with water. Air became the life force that his later creations would breathe to survive; though at times it was a tad unpredictable, forming into swirling vortexes that Ether named Tornados. The Great God brought into being the weather which was as wild and destructive as it could be tame and beautiful. With these he also created Night and Day, Sun and Moon.
His first, and greatest, creations were complete... and yet something was missing.
Life.
To fully create a masterpiece, he needed to place that one final jigsaw piece. He created life. Various races, both human-like and not, sprung up on both landmass and in the seas. Whilst these races fought sporadically for dominace over the other, Ether knew he could not interfere. He had given them life... but he would not govern them.
From each kingdom, he chose a leader. That leader would birth a line of successors. Ether was content. There was nothing more he could do.

HARROW
the second born and master of destruction
As he typically appears before those who pray to him
It is actually unknown as to whether Harrow awakened before the Third Born or not, but the fact that he made his presence in the universe well known long before she did gives him reason to believe so.
As beautiful as his siblings yet far different to either.
Harrow's awakening occurred when he sensed Ether's creations being given the gift of life. Angered and envied that his brother could create such wonderful, perfect lifeforms, Harrow sought to destroy them.
However, the unwritten laws of the universe that governs the Gods restricts him from doing so directly. Thus he planted the seed of envy in the heart of Ether's lifeforms.
This seed began to grow and in time, wars broke out across the land.
Whilst Ether had created the worlds and the life upon them, Harrow had shown that good cannot live without darkness. Life can not live without death.
Every thing has an opposite.

DEMETER
the third born and goddess of equity
As she typically appears before those that pray to her.
Whilst known as the Third Born, there are tales that Demeter awakened long before her siblings and with her awakening came the process known as Time. Demeter governs both the passage of Time and balance between good and evil.
Demeter nurtures the creations of both Ether and Harrow. Whilst she bears no evil seed in her pure heart, she cannot bring herself to destroy the horrific beasts that have come into being because of Harrow's interference.
Fair and unbiased in her outlook, Demeter is the only Elder Deity to reside upon the world of Zarathastra. From her marble temple, she is better able to make sure that neither of her brothers interfere in the balance that she has sought so hard to maintain.
A dazzlingly beautiful young woman, she is often seen in her pure white goat or cat form when traveling.

The Legend of The Oracles
the divine roses
At the dawn of time, Elder Deity Ether brought a pure White Rose into creation to signify the beauty of all the things he had created in one singular creation. It was the image of perfection, each petal as beautiful as the next and he name this Divine Rose, Orisis.
Harrow, stricken by envy at the complete perfection of his brother’s creation, sought to birth his own Divine Rose. And so he did; to mirror that of his brother’s, Harrow’s Rose was a midnight black, signifying the darkness in his heart and hatred towards everything his brother created. Each petal quivered and snapped at the white rose and he named this Divine Black Rose, Oredan.
“Now, their sister, Demeter, felt sick to the stomach as she watched the Black Rose tear away the perfect petals of the White Rose and the constant rejuvenation of the White Rose became her most precious task for she mothered Ether’s creations. Yet, though she despised the Black Rose for what it did to the White Rose, Demeter could not destroy it, so she simply watched the constant destruction and rebirth of the beautiful Orisis. In time, Demeter decided the best way to prevent the hatred of the Black Rose towards the White Rose was to bind them. And so she forced them the twine around each other, their stems braiding until the flowers were touching.
The Black Rose still tried to rip away the petals of the White Rose, but instead of destroying the White Rose, it pollinated it. From this, a new Rose was born. The Red Rose. It never grew larger than the span of Demeter’s hand but it signified the union of light and darkness, showing that one can never truly live without the other.
Because of this divine revelation, the Roses transformed into beings that Demeter named the Oracles. Orisis, the White Rose and the Oracle of Light. Oredan, the Black Rose and the Oracle of Darkness. Ocairo, the Red Rose and Oracle of Revelation.
These Oracles can see years into the future, for that is the gift given to them when they were first created as those warring roses. And so they come before those touched heavily by Destiny to guide them.
