In your opinions, did you think that Square left the ending open like that because there's gonna be a sequel, or were they trying to make it a suspenseful type ending, but succeded only in making it incomplete.

Of course I am reffering to the ending with G, (Genesis) saying to Weiss that they still had much work to do, and flying off with Sephiroths trademark one-wing, only on the opposite side.

I think that a sequel is deffinately on the agenda with the 'Secret Ending' otherwise SE wouldn't bother making the ending and giving you as much of a background on Genesis as they did.

Ugh, I'm hoping they stop with these FFVII Compilation titles already. Square-Enix needs to stop relying on past glories and focus the brunt of their task force on the future hits of the Franchise.

It's leading into Crisis Core, which is going to be about Genesis and all of that. I agree with Busta that they need to stop whoring a great game. All anyone ever asked for was a remake, just with better graphics, for the original FFVII updated to the glorious power of the PS3. I don't want/need and certainly didn't request any of this other crap. The Genesis/Angeal story only makes me mad. It's just whoring a good concept.

A remake of FFVII on PS3 would be great seeing as I've never played FFVII neither do I want to because the standard of graphics is poor compared to the standards of today I find it hard to concentrate on games that were made that long ago.

Final Fantasy fans are not really use to sequels that follow the same storyline as their previous game. But this doesn't mean that they're whoring it out. I personnaly like the idea of my favorite game having more of a story to it.

Come on now, it's definitely left open for a sequel. Sadly, nowadays what isn't? You think with the ten gazillion FFVI spinoffs in production and already released that they'd let D.O.C. die gracefully after one run?

i guess we really dont know until SE gives a more definitekind of hint. me i kinda hope that there will be a sequel set after DC time wise,
