No it is not that I want to change my username. it is that in the past when people want to get onto a big site the name is taken by someone who hasn't been on for months and later to find out the person decided that they hated the site.
I never said that they should be deleted.

Most inactive account owners I have ever talked to even told me that I could change their name if I needed to. (I was an admin to several sites before.)

Most of them I didn't ask they just told me.

59.
I use to admin a site called Xenocreation. and when people were inactive for a month or more they would e-mail me telling me that i could do that.
They only posted 2
The person might come back. (which usually they create a new account.)
it would mess with the stats. (which is stopped by name change.)

LOL you are talking about a site that had over 1 million members!

The site dispersed due to over population.
(remember the server is busy screen)
Hummm maybe cause people liked Xeno better
and I am not yellow.

nope you have over 100000 active members active at one time most hosts won't host you.

umm This was 8 years ago and with that amount of members no server would hold it because of the simple fact we were using over 100 gigs of bandwidth.

I think we should just change their names to I# unless they are banned or on the top stats.
Decado SHUT UP it is possible for it to happen and it did.
I saw it with my very own eyes the site had over 100000 members on at once.

No inactive accounts take up bandwidth thus they cause sites to go slower.
And we had a gross income of $10000 a month but the owner had to buy the stuff to host it himself due to no other host wanting to.
Sorry started post before you posted.
Please do close it.
