In what order did you play the series?

Did you play them all neatly in order, or skip around to whichever one you happened to come across?

I started with VII, then VIII, then I went to X, X-2, XII, and finally went back and bought IX. IX is quickly becoming my favorite.

I've been thinking about getting the ones that I missed and playing them through as well, but I'm still busy with IX and I expect to stay that way for quite a while.
