SPOILERS IN THIS POST:

I just spent about 10 hours getting the Iga Blade...

Its in the Sochen Cave Palace, where you enter that waterfall area, and there is a Pilgrims Door.. it says all sorts of hints about how to enter the special room...

First of all, trying to use logic to solve the puzzle cost me about 4 hours... it gives you all sorts of hints about searching for heaven and earth, and the hints are useless and waste your time.

I repeat, THERE IS NO LOGIC to this Pilgrims Door puzzle.. eventually I used an online hintbook and discovered that you have to enter the waterfall area from 8 different locations. There is no way anyone could figure this out on their own.

Anyhow, after obtaining the Iga Blade, I spent another 5 hours unlocking the licenses searching for the Ninja Swords. I finally found it, equiped the Iga Blade..

It is listed as the "3rd most powerful ninja sword"

Guess what? It only does 400-500 damage!!!!!!

Other swords I can buy in stores do more damage!!!!

SCREW FINAL FANTASY!!!!!!!!!!!!! YES IM PISSED!!!!!!!!!!!

How did it take you 10 hours? I remember thinking it'd be a good weapon, and I got it in about 40 minutes of running and connecting waterfalls and all that junk. I think I got lucky and it was in the chest the first time, instead of being the Koga blade or whatever other one you can get.

Also, it's good if you pick it up as soon as possible, and haven't overleveled/overgeared your characters. Otherwise it's useless sadly enough.

Because the hints were very interesting:

"Stand north facing heaven, and walk south into earth. if you seek the heart, you shall find it" etc..

This has to be the biggest farce in the history of video games, putting these types of ridiculous hints that make no sense....

You realize the possible combinations of 8 different entrances and exits, right? Its in the 1,000s Im sure...

And they place this sword near the end of the game, when your character is already level 40...

I'm close to throwing this game in the trash..
