If you absolutely had no other choice, would you rather have your country fall under communism or fall under anarchy?

Just so people know what's what...

In a communist country, the government pretty much controls everyting.

In an anarchy, there is no government. Just mass chaos.

Please post an explanation as to why you'd prefer one over the other.

Communism.
There has to be some form of law.
You have to inflict fear in some way shape or form; it's the only way to prevent total anarchy.

Agreed. Though I'm voting in my own poll here, I'd prefer to be under complete control than to be lying in bed every night hoping to God my house doesn't get burned down in the next daily riot.

Anarchy.

Depends what kind you mean

Morons destroying everything Anarchy, or people living together in peace with no leader.

Most Anarchists (who are anarchists and real ones, not retards who think the symbol is cool) are peaceful.

Plus the communism you speak of is Stalinism, not real Communism.

i would have to choose communism, everyone is equal

pure communism doesn't have a governing body, if i remember correctly

It has a small governing body to keep law and order and command armed forces, but that is it I think.

I don't quite understand how it works though, for example "everyone is equal, but I am the leader therefore I am higher than you and everyone is not equal"

Eh, when I said 'Anarchy', I meant the inevitable. Once the public realizes there is no law, they decide to go out and do whatever they want. Looting, murders, gang rapes, you get the idea. Where there is lack of law, there are large masses of people who decide, "Heh...no one's gonna punish me for such-an'-such, so I might as well." The next thing you know: Chaos.

As for the difference between Stalinism and Communism...I admit, I haven't looked into the different types of government to be able to tell the difference right off the spot. I just chose the two types that most people are at least familiar with.
