Didn't they become the very core of the pillar? Essencially the one thing stabilising it and stopping Cocoon collapsing? :hmmm: If memory serves me, in the final FMV they (Vanille and Fang) combine powers to create the pillar to stop Cocoon's collapse.

Who says they are connected to that pillar? It very well looks like they are a crystal within a crystal. Like they completed their focus again this time.
 
Well they created the pillar, of course they're a part of it, they are the very being keeping Cocoon alive, like Orphan before them :hmmm: they were the start of the pillar's creation, without them the pillar cannot exist, it took so much strain it required 2 L'Cie to perform.

Ragnarok created it, not them. Again, crystal within a crystal. They are not THE CRYSTAL. Again, do you think there's any possibility they wake up?

I highly doubt it, FF13 is meant to be the 'light' side of the Fabula Novus Crystallis (or however you spell it) so I doubt they'd sacrifice an entire world as well as a fair chunk of the population of Pulse all for the sake of bringing back Vanille and Fang. The Maker him/her/itself would probably not want to do that either, considering his goals at the end of FF13 to bring down Barthandelus/Orphan, and Fang/Vanille's clear focus to stop Cocoon's collapse. Why bring them back and contradict their original focus?

That was never their focus, it's called defying it, but I doubt you ever heard of what Raines did. Either way, it's your opinion and it's worth a grain of salt to me. They'll wake up.....

LOL, Ok. It mean it just said on his datalog that he defied his focus and that he completed his own "human" focus. I'm guessing that was the same for Fang and Vanille. But you go off and be delusional.
 
Well he tried to defy his focus by attempting to stop Lightning and co, they defeated him, thus completing his focus. If you fail to complete your focus you turn Cie'th, you don't crystallise.

Look at examples such as Dajh and Serah.
