Tech I need help with my pc

I have no idea why this is happening to me because this never happened at all... anyways my problem is ,when im either playing a game on my pc or searching the internet, my mouse and keyboard freezes up and the only way for me to unfreeze it is to restart my computer by hold down the power button.

I search around the internet to find a solution to this problem of mine but i can seem to find anything that could help me. I don't know what to do, if I need to download something or change something.

Please can someone help me?

Sounds like it may be a driver issue. Have you tried going to the manufacturers website (of the people who make your mouse and keyboard) and updating your drivers? Would also be worth while checking the same for your motherboard.
 
well i tried that, but when i tried to run an update it said it is on the latest update on both mouse and keyboard. I don't know about the motherboard though..

How can I update the motherboard or scan it for problems?
 
I ask someone from Best Buy about my problem and he said I should update the ram from 6 gigs to 8 or higher, should I update rams or should I update motherboard?
 
I think the problem lies with the amount of system memory the game uses. Maybe the whole system is freezing up because your PC can't handle the game? What are your computer specs as well as the requirements of the game?

well its not that old 2011, and I don't have that much running only a virus protector and windows 7,i 5 processor, 6 gigs of ram, this never happen to me until now though... how can that be??

well its not that the pc freezes its the mouse freezing and keyboard, say that im in a game then my mouse and keyboard freezes, the game time still is going but i cant move my mouse or do Ctrl, Alt, and Delete, but if i move a the usb ports to another spot it will be fine until it does it again then i restart my computer, I can only move it to a different usb port once.

Might have fix my problem.....

I got a new mouse and it seems it fixed my problem, no freezing recurred. ( not yet anyways... )

If my computer freezes again I will let you guys know.
