I had to explain this to someone...

I have to say that all BUT Auron were only fanservice. It seems like he acts completely the same as the FFX Auron and he is even already dead. KH IS an alternate reality kinda game, we see that in all the disney worlds as well. Shoot, I forget, was Auron sent or did he just leave? If he was sent, my argument fails. But if he went on his own, he could have been sailing around in his Pyrefly body and somehow got snatched up by Hades. He even talks about being a guardian! I rest my case. But just to clarify, I agree with the others. (your argument for FFX-2 was lol XD)

I'm a bit neutral because for one thing it is possible for them to be literally transported there because since they consider the place of their origin as 'worlds' it might be possible that they have just changed worlds but you're theory may also prove to be correct because since the story and aging time line that they have in KH is completely out of league but it might occur that the story they have might have a little twist in them but then again the happenings to their current status might be because oftheir moving to different worlds thing.
 
i inclined to agree with you, FF was a tool used to promote KH to an extent...

you have to admit it added to game play etc, and story line development on these characters, plus nice to see some famous character redesigned...

but another note you could mention is Cloud in KHI seemed to be a fusion/mixture of vincent valentine and cloud strife another note is in KHI final mix where you see the scene where cloud fights sephiroth, and bluntly states

"you are my darkness, if i don't defeat you i can never wake up from this nightmare"

or something along those lines

I think it was mainly fanservice, and I would have NEVER bought KH if it wasn't for the FF characters.

They can't be the same people >.> the FFX-2 girls were fairies, as Fusionist said :gonk: That's so not transportation. Also... Squall's big rival, Seifer, is about... I'd say he was 15. Squall's about 23-25 in KH, I think. They were close to the same age in FFVIII. Selphie's also about 13-15 in KH, so no, they're not from the same game. It just doesn't work out.

I agree with Fusionist on this >.> Her essay there explains things quite nicely :monster:
