I agree with the video 1000% That's why most of the games I've played as a little kid are much better then games today. For a game to be amazing it mostly depends on the story, style, the music/sound, and the feel of being there not only on the graphics but graphics are still nice to have for a bit of support.
This is mainly the reason why SE is not doing so well with their new games recently, because of games that have some awesome graphics but shitty stories. Kids this gen only expect games to have bad@$$ graphics, blood, gore, and sex because of the short attention spans they have (just to appeal to the eye). They believe that those types of games are better then games that may not have well supported graphics but have an amazing story. What SE is trying to do is appeal to everyone so they say "Hey the gamers these days look at the game's graphics more, lets upgrade and compete with the western rpgs!" So they go and spend a bunch of money on graphics and forget about the aesthetics, SE is trying to appeal to everyone by improving graphics because of this its hard to work on a storyline the most important thing that makes up a Final Fantasy game! Graphics are made to support aesthetics not replace them!!!

Yet do you see the kids that we use to be really wanting to play games that dont have pretty graphics or a lot of action? I don't, they are far and few... time for us to realize that our golden age is over, its the new generations golden age... Yes this is spam but I made a post get over it.
