I think I'm the only one who does this.
Its main use for me was curing mp. When I go low on MP, like 10/999 MP 8000/8000 HP left, I'd put on the materia making me have 8000 MP and 10 HP. Then I'd cast cure and take off the materia. In the end I would be healed completly HP and MP. Cheers.

i never knew you could do that,how did you stumble upon being able to do that?
this is easily explained
say you start out like this,
9999/9999 HP 10/999 MP
Add Hp< > mp then it turns to
10/999 HP 9999/9999 MP
Cure your hp and then take off the Hp< >MP matieria. You should now have full MP.
I made this trick all by myself so This is probally the second time its been on the web lol.
