I'm utterly appauled at the lack of threads popping up for Final Fantasy XII! So, let's remedy that, shall we?

This thread is dedicated to Consul/Emperor Vayne Carudas Solidor. After completing Final Fantasy XII, I must say that I find Vayne to be one of, if not the, best characters in all of Final Fantasy history. He has easily reached top-spot for my favourite Final Fantasy villain.

NOTE: The following will contain spoilers.

A little information on Vayne:

Vayne Carudas Solidor is the 27-year-old Consul-Governor of Archadian-occupied Dalmasca, Commandant of the Archadian Empire's Western Armada and a member of House Solidor, whose members had led the Empire for four generations. This in effect makes him a "Prince", though as he states, the democratic nature of the Empire makes him no more eligible for the throne than anyone. He often laughs off those who attempt to give him the respect his title would command and makes genuine efforts to reach out to the conquered Dalmascans who make up his jurisdiction.

Unfortunately for us, Wikipedia has not provided much more information than that. However, I'm sure with the high number of registered members, Vayne Solidor will become notorious on FFF in no time.

While I've not played much (I'm just at that place where you've gotta run round screaming 'Basch lives!!' *and why did they name a character Bash?? It gets SO many cheap laughs - aaanyway), but I know whom Vayne is, and he's pretty awesome. He reminds me of two characters:

Paine: Simply for wordplay - paine, is pain incarnate, and has a slightly different spelling. Vayne is Vain (trying to lower himself, forcing people to un/willingly exalt him yet more) so he is vain spelt differently.

Seymour: Sort of gentle, and likes to get involved with the people. Yet, in truth, he is a wanker.

Anyways, I wanna get back to the topic of how awesome Vayne is efore I get to the next bit on FFXII as I play right now and thus have to scream MOOOOOOOGLES!!! every god-damn second. I'ma joinin

I wanna join! Vayne is smexy! At first when he first appears I thought he was gonna be a good guy but he tricked me! I wanted to cry when I found out that he's the main villian! I wanna join as....uh...who's the closest to being in love with Vayne?
