i'm talking ALL initial costs, including hardware upgrades, the CE fee, shipping and handling, etc

i'm spending around $90 to get the game on the 22nd

Paying..

Im paying $0 .... BUT>. my wife reserved and bought it for me. CE OF COURSE. WOOT>. can wait ... im gonna be there 22 .. before they open.. UGGGG.. i want it now.. WHY MUST I WAIT>. lol

Correction: I am a fan of FF games that I think are good. At first I wanted to try it, but the more I see it, the more it resembles XI for me, and I couldn't stand that game. Now that there's going to be an MMO that has everything I like about a game coming out, why waste money on a game I'm probably not going to stick with? I'll probably just try it at a friend's or something.

i changed my mind and picked it up in gamestop today. only cost $80 to purchase, which is a fair deal in my opinion

ALSO DON'T USE THE DEFAULT DOWNLOADER FOR UPDATES. seriously, find the torrent for each individual update and open them in a program like Bittorrent. Much much faster. Getting 160 kB/s on the 423 MB update right now, it should be finished by the time I'm done my class.

Yup i found the patches...installed and wow...looks nice on a windowed screen.....FF=Final Fantasy? nope FF=Final Fail.

Will stick to CoHO beta (Company of Heroes btw), Eve,ToR beta,Wot beta and TERRA beta

Well TERRA FG..not really a beta, but close enough

Forgot to add CiV V in mailbox tomorrow :P

I probably paid about £300 total over the years playing FFXI. Havent got FFXIV yet but I'll need a new laptop to play it, and thats just not happening until I need one. I suppose when I do get one, which is inevitable, I'll end up paying about the same on monthly payments and the like over the course of a few years.

Then again I was a student when I was playing FFXI and I'm not now so I've no time :(
