How long did it take you to complete the game?

I did it in about 50 hours or something BUT I did the Magus Sisters, Anima and Yojimbo side quests. I also got the Masamune fully powered, Godhand fully powered and Nirvana fully powered. I have all the other celestial weapons.
 
I have a file that's 136hours+ and I still need to do Dark Yojimbo and Penance

I also have a 100hour-ish file
 
Well, just beating the game took me about 90 hours. But I used that same file to complete all the sidequests (all celestial weapons fully powered, all arena creations defeated, all aeons acquired) and that file ended up at 236 hours.
 
straight through without any of the side quests it took me about 45 hours
all the way through with sidequests i took me about 170 ish i think anyway
 
60 hours to complete the story-line missions. Before the end, I had everyone's Celestial Weapons powered up and all enemies captured. So it would have been quicker if I didn't do the sidequests before fighting Jecht.

I once had a save file with 170 hours, but my sister deleted it. That was 2 years ago.

I'm currently on 100 hours now.

...well, the Dark Aeons anyway....not sure if there was out else different

If there were no Dark Aeons you could probably shave a fair few hours of training off my time, training that still needs to be done aswel >_>
 
For my main file i had 90 hours at the time of completion with all events completed, including celestial weapons maxed out and an 50-0 Blitz team (took forever to get the blitz team good).
 
Around 160 hours in my last game, that was a 100% run with all optional bosses beaten, all cestials fully charged and every stat maxxed to 255 for all the characters.
 
I logged 80 hours on it when I finally beat the Final Boss, but that was because i played Blitzball like crazy before I went into Sin at the end. I wanted to get the Jupiter Sigil for Wakka before I forged ahead to the final battles in Sin.

Right now though I've logged close to 200 hours in trying to get 100% in the game.
 
I forget, it's an amazing game none the less. As long as you had fun don't worry about the time on it. I think I beat mine in 35-40 hours. Yeah... I'm an FFX whore. :P
 
With school and real life at the time, my first play through of FFX took me about a month; not sure about the actual hours. I remember that I kept losing to Jecht, so I had to level up a lot of spheres or something at the time *shrugs*
 
I have 170+ hours on my game file but I had beaten the game way before I was at that many hours. I just kept using that file to go back and fight random battles then save afterwards.
 
By the time i decided to go kill the final bosses it was about the 300+hours, thats with most the sidequests done apart from Dark Bahamut, Anima and the Magus sisters and Penance, but a good chunk of my file was blitzballing, for the lengh i played it my characters weren't that developed. Strong yes, but not strong enough.
 
It took 59 hours for me to get Yojimbo, Anima, the Mangus Sisters, all the legendary weapons and add ons to them (except the Venus Sigil, World Champion, and I might have missed one of Auron's pieces... not sure), defeat Omega and finish the game. I didn't bother more than I had to with gathering all the fiends available. I just got the ones needed for one of the pieces to one of the legendary weapons (I don't remember which.) Also, I avoided blitzball most of the time.
 
This game took me a long time to beat. I'm not sure about number of hours but I'm pretty sure it's at least 60+. The main quest wasn't what took so long but all the side quests. I probably spent more time doing that than actually playing the game. I never even did the Monster Arena either... can't imagine how much time that'd take.
 
Not sure the exact time, I think around 60-75 hours. I was a blitzball fanatic lol. The game was fun though, well worth the time.
 
38 hours just going from start to finish but I still have a save game as 100 hours I just fight at the monster arena or play blitzball.
 
UPDATE
I just whupped Nemesis' ass. Time Played: 136:15. I have got all aeons, Auron, Yuna and Rikku's Celestial weapons fully powered.
