How do you get hp/str/etc. pluses?

Everytime i see a video in FF8 on youtube, i mostly see ppl with like 100 of luck pluses/strength pluses/speed/etc.

how do ppl get so many? is there like a special way??
and where do u get the items to refine them into the stat increasers?

They probably got them from the enhancements of the + abilities that add +1 to the specified stat every time they level up.

As for items that make increments on your status, I'm not sure where to find them. I've only seen a few in the game, and they were only Strength up items that were given after beating Raijin in Balamb and Lunatic Pandora.

I prefer using 'Devour' on enemies. It's alot quicker. And I think there is a way to make those stat+'s.
