Well since it's technology-related, I'll post it here.
Alright, I bought a DVD CAM Hitachi DZ-GX5020A four days ago at Meijer for 299 bucks, 320 tax included. A big rip-off, considering it's going for 220 - 250 bucks online with free shipping.
I should've done my research first...
Anyway, I bought a Panasonic DVD-RAM disk for it, recorded for a minute, then popped it on my dell laptop. (It didn't need to be finalized). Nothing. It didn't even read the disk. My drive just made all these funky noises. I consulted a few people and they told me that either the drive is being picky when it comes to DVD types, or that it can't read DVD-RAMS at all.
Well whatever the problem is, I want my money back and get a new one...this time, one that includes a USB plug so I won't have to deal with any disk problems again.
So my question is, do you guys know of any camcorder (any brand) that includes a USB plug...? (So I can upload videos onto my PC and share it with family and friends...much easier that way.) I tried researching earlier, but came up with nothing. Yeah, I didn't research hard enough, is actually the case...
