Wow did anybody take the time to level here and get their characters built? I never realized how great the exp was, you level within 2 fights. And its rather easy too.

I've done abit of grinding there, always helps when there's a save sphere really close.

Decent amount of AP given, only problem is Kimarhi misses out. I like to keep everyone equal and get them involved in every battle, even if it's just to defend.

I generally do a good amount of leveling on the highbridge. If I'm playing normally, I usually allow all of my characters to finish their own portion of the sphere grid, with some of my more active characters (Auron, Rikku, Tidus) extending into other grids. It would be nice to have Kimahri share in some of the experience, but I rarely ever used him, so whatever.

Yeah ! love that place !

Usually try and make sure that everybody's Overdrives upgrade though instead of leveling up. It makes the next upcoming battle with Seymour much less lethal..

Always try and get Tidus's final limit break at this place, and train up all of Yuna's Aeons.

But usually level the Calm Lands to level up the sphere grid with..

This is the point in the game where I stop using Kimahri. Normally I put Kimahri on Auron's path, so they're identical, but after Highbridge, Auron is so far ahead, I just give up on him.

Highbridge a really great place to level up in my opinion. The enemies are rather easy, there's a save sphere very close by to heal, and the AP is brilliant. It's my favourite place in the game to level, I always take an hour or two leveling there before fighting Seymour Natus, last time I played through FFX, I made sure Lulu knew Doublecast before moving on, and the others had higher abilities too.

It's just a shame that Kimahri misses out really.

This is the place right before Seymour Natus, amirite? :gasp:

I guess I hung out here for a little while. I'm normally pretty diligent about keeping my party members around the same "levels", so I wouldn't like to keep Kimhari behind for too long. If someone was very close to learning an exciting ability or some such, I might hang around for a bit...but not too long. :monster:

Oh no I never hung around there long at all. Only went there because I had to and then left!

I only really fully trained up my party after the first playthrough.

The place that I always trained my party at was the 'Mi'ihen Highroad'. It was the safest place and it did take a while but I wanted to just take it easy and train them right up so that I was ready for anything later on. XD

I hate those machina pricks!

I always overleveled here. Spent about 3 hours once training. Had Tidus' Quick Hit before I even fought Seymour.

I really overleveled here as well. I maxed out all my characters sphere grids(all that I could, and all except Kimahri obviously). And once I fought Seymour he was a breeze obviously. I think my fight ended in about 5 maybe 6 attacks.

I really would love to level there, as it would be a great opportunity, but I never do... I am just far too anal about my characters leveling evenly, as others have said. I go so far as to put every single character in every single battle, no matter what, even if I just press triangle for their action in order to do it. The fact that Kimahri misses out on the Highbridge makes it a no-go for me.

I did a good amount of leveling there my second time around, and had my kimahri ahead of the others, and it was there when I brought them up to speed. Another good place to train is the area right before you fight the boss before entering Zanarkand.
