Wii's new Dragon Quest game, Dragon Quest Monsters Battle Road Victory, is being prepped for a summer release. Here's how you might be able to play it in advance.
Square Enix has announced plans for the Dragon Quest Monsters Battle II Legend Summer Festival, the third installment in an annual tournament for the arcade title off which Victory is based. The event is set for July 3 and 4 at Shiodome in central Tokyo. The first day will see competition between elementary school kids. The second day will feature parent/child pairs.
Outside of the tournament, Square Enix also plans stage events and goods sales. There will also be demo corners for Legend II and Victory -- the later presumably ahead of its release.
This event is invitation only. Each day will allow for 700 attendees, chosen through a drawing. Name submissions are being accepted through June 9 at the event official site.
