Help with the Golden Chocobo

The only thing you need to take from the walkthroughs on the Internet are that the Sylkis greens are the best ones for raising stats, and getting the gold chocobo on the third disk isn't a bad idea (particularly because your levels will be higher, you'll have more money, and the W-Item materia), and saving the game before you breed them. I'm not so sure if racing them really has an effect on their chances of breeding--I never bothered to test it because racing chocobos was what I did when I waited for the chocobos to be ready to breed again.

I got the gold chocobo from beating Ruby weapon before, and it's really not worth it. You'd probably like to have KOTR for fighting him anyways, and the gold chocobo you get for beating him sucks anyways. He's really slow. So if you breed your own, it will be much faster and better, even though it takes some time.
 
Yea I'm breeding my own. I'm at disk three. And I put all their stats all the way up. Just got them both to Class A. Lets hope that I get a blue.

Some one said the higher class, the more chance you have of getting one.

Okay I got a male blue, now I will try and get a female green. Gender does not matter for the green and blue I hope.

So what classes should I get them to get a black? Sorry if I'm asking the same questions again.

One more question, which island on the NE do I find the goblin?

The goblin with the zeio nut? Its on a small island to the right of the chocobo ranch, and somewhere below the island that has KOTR

And as Angelus said, unless you are like proper good, the yellow chocobos aint gunna get S class, it just boosts your chances a little
 
I thought I answered that question. You need them to be at least Class-A. Your chances of breeding a Black Chocobo will increase if you train them to S.

Just incase: For the Gold Chocobo, your Black Chocobo needs to be Class-A, whilst your Wonderful Chocobo needs to be Class-S.
