Help needed in Mysterious Ruins

I need help getting through the Mysterious Ruins, just after the Great Mary. My character is a Black Mage type. I can get past the Timmy the Turtles and the Porcupines easily but when it comes to the Raptors their high speed is making it so that they are damaging me faster than I can heal, and I'm pretty far off from their speed level.

I need someone with high speed. It doesn't matter if they're melee or magical as long as they can make up for my low speed. I know Fira, Thundara, Watera and Icera and Thundara is at level ten. I'm at level 16. Thanks.

Just try and get to level up off of Timmy and the porcupines in the previous areas and use the points you get to raise your speed. That way, they wont overwhelm you with their speed.
