Summoner Yuna
The pirate and the princess
Ok, so, since I got excellent grades last semester my Mom has decided to reward me with Advent Children Limited Edition Collector's set and one game, any game that I pick. And add to that that I beat my second FF game ever (FF7) so I'm itching for another Final Fantasy adventure. And here are the possibilities:
FF Origins- It has the first two games, which I find awesome, because I'd really like to see the roots of FF. I don't mind older games (I have played and beaten the first Legend of Zelda and its sequel Adventure of Link). However I haven't played such an old RPG, but some people say that it isn't worth it, plus you have to finish it in a sitting because the save system doesn't work like it does today. I really don't have the patience to finish a game in a sitting, but if it's really good then I might give it a try. Some people say that this games are really showing their age and that they don't have much of a plot, which bothers me because I need a good plot to motivate me to play through a game. So I'd like people's opinions if this is worth buying.
FF Chronicles- I'm really interested in this one not only because it has FFIV (which recieves a lot of praise), but also Chrono Trigger which interests me a lot since I love Square and their games tend to be great so I'd like to give that a chance as well. Supposedly, this is the best translation of FFIV that you can find.
FF Anthology- FFVI is regarded as one of the best FFs ever and they say that the job system of FFV is fun, but if it's as fun as the junction system in VIII then *yawn*
FFVIII- I used to have this game, but I gave it to my little cousin since it was his birthday and he loved the game so much. I've played it up to the first mission. Even though the story seemed ok, the junction system bothered me. But if the story is totally awesome and the characters are great, then I might be motivated enough to buy and give this game a second try.
FFIX- I heard it's one of the easiest FFs to pick up and it doesn't have any complicated system, and it has a medieval setting, which I love, but I've heard many mixed reviews about it.
And finally
FFXII- Many people don't like this game, however it has things that attract me like no random battles. But again, I've heard mixed reviews of the story adn charcters (although just by looks Balthier strikes me as awesome.)
So, which game would you recommend? Should I stay far away from any of them or should I just pick randomly because they're all great?
Thanks for attention. (Wow this is the longest post I've ever made so if you read the whole thing, thank you).

And gamestop bought out Rhino Games, which DID sell PS1 games. So yeah.......unless you have an independent game store in your area, go with ebay.
But you really need to buy them all Yuna. But get IX first, then Anthology, then Chronicles.
