Hello there, I'm obviously new here, but have a feeling I'll like it. To be honost though, the only FF game I've played that I actually like is VII. The first FF games I ever played where 1, 2, and Tactics, and I never really liked any of them. Then my fiance got me to play VII, and I've really liked it ever since.
I'm a fan of anime and manga (cyberpunk to be specific). Some of my favorite animes include Akira, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Berserk, Serial Experiments Lain (though it's been forever since I've seen it), and Hellsing (although vampire anime usually isn't my thing, I found myself enjoying this series). Some of my favorite manga include Akira, Berserk, Battle Royale, and Golgo 13.
I'm into all kinds of live action movies, but most of them revolve around some sort of crazy (almost surreal) plot, or are just complete fantasy. I really like A Clockwork Orange, Un Chein Andalou, The Lord of the Rings, most martial arts movies, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, and pretty much anything by Tarantino.
My musical tastes are pretty diverse, I'll listen to anything from death metal, to classical stuff like Beethoven. I'm a big fan of electronica and techno, and the only rap I'll occasionaly listen to is Public Enemy, and the only country I'll listen to is Johnny Cash.
I am also really into martial arts, I practice three kung fu styles: Gao style Bagua, Hebei style Xingyi, and Chen style Taiji. I practice constantly and hope to one day be considered a master.
I like to make indy films with my friends, and as soon as I get my own camera, I'll be making a lot alone too.
And of course I love being with my fiance
