I'm new to this site and decided to join since the site I used to be a member of shut down prematurely (owner disappeared and failed to pay the bills.) If you were a member of the said site, FFSpira, you may have known me as Balthier. Assuming the name Mercurial is not common, I already know at least one of you!
I play games as often as I can, though I tend to not follow any particular trend. As an example, I liked both Final Fantasy 7 and 8 equally, did not enjoy 9 too much, liked X, and consider 12 my favorite Final Fantasy. I enjoy reading Chaucer, Shakespeare, and various literary works, so I found 12's style right up my alley. I do happen to be something of a Star Wars nut though (classics and novels.)
