Ok so im playing FFVI and theres a knock on the door, so I ignore it as you do. They kept knocking for a few mins before going around to the back door. Must be an important visit then for this persistence I though so I gave up and answered. It was a woman from Social Services asking to see my child for his checkup. Now unless somebody's forgotten to tell me something I'm pretty sure I don't have a little one running around! She argued that she was at the right place though and even got abit demanding as if she was getting the impression that I was lying to get out of it. So I asked her to check her forms. Looked at the forms and she did actually have my address. Eventually after much arguing we find out it was a mistake and was actually supposed to be visiting the house across the street.

If people like this have to be dealt with if/when I end up having a child of my own (piss off, I'd be a great daddy and you knows it:P) then I'd rather not. Geez!

Hmmm Social Services are a pain in the ass. My Mum's Social Worker put me forward for counselling and help because I'm a single mum escaping a psycho, which was really annoying because I don't need help- but they came to see me and told me they didn't think I needed help either >_<

Uh, once they start pestering, they just don't let up. If they arent ringing they are writing & if they are not wrting they are banging on your door. Bloody health Visitors and the like really got on my nerves. Altho I have started seeing one again after a bad year and she's actually really nice we just sit and natter for ages :wacky:

When you answered the door, you should have said something like...

"Oh, you're from Social Services, are you? Yeah, I'm afraid the little one isn't in a position to be taking visitors at the moment. Locked the little shitter in the fridge after he gave me a bit of lip, I did. Been in there for a few days now. I suppose I can let him out to see you, but it's back in once you leave, understand? Right, let's be quick about this. Follow me."

Might have gotten a nifty reaction! Seems they need to get their files straightened out.
