Every FF has a theme. That theme is an instrument that is usually used a lot in the entire Soundtrack. Example. FFXII Has violin in almost every single piece. Then FF Crystal Chronicles has the Obe a lot. Then we have FFXI, a lot of trumpets. Then FFIX has the harp a lot. If you've noticed any other instrument that is widely used please sa so.

Wow, I didn't noticed. Next time I play, I'm going to put more attention in what I listen.

I definitely noticed the Harp dominance in FFIX's soundtrack, considering how rare it is to hear one these days. It also made most of the soundtrack very, very easy to incorporate into my cd's for work. It's amusing because my clients don't realize they're relaxing to a CD made up almost entirely of video game and anime soundtracks. >D

But they love it so much. It's almost like I'm merging the generations with that one aspect right there.
