Has anyone here on this forum ever got the Special Battles thing finished? I mean having all the items to win from it, you could beat every monster in one attack,the whole she-bang. I know I have. I want to find out what combinations of armor, items. accessories and weapons were used. Here's mine:

I go in with Cloud
I equip his Ultima weapon, Mystile and Ribbon
I go in with half my limit break bar filled, only 1/2 so that he gets it near the end
As for materia: M=mastered

HP+ M
Fire M
Bolt M
Bio M
Final Attack M + Phoenix M
Mega All M
Double cut M
Chocobo Lure M (It increases your luck)
***ON MYSTILE***
Ultima M + Elemental (Which will give you immunity from all elemental attacks, if elemental is mastered)

Knights of the Round M + W-Summon M
and an Enemy Skill with: *'s show recommended skills

I didn't bother collecting all the E.Skills this run through.:P

It was an easy battle I did not find it challenging but then I found Emerald and Ruby weapon easy so that was really nothing. Though I had already done it once to actually get this set up. The first time I had no challenge either.
 
Same here, I always used Cloud w/ Ultima Wpn,mystile,Sprint Shoes/Ribbon and had him in "Fury" w/ Mime
 
I had Cloud at lvl. 99, Ultima Weapon, with many different materia attacthed (can't remember what materia were in it but Ultima was and so was Knight of the round), I had the Accessorie Cats Bell on and Armor Zeidrich on also
 
i go in with Clould.
ultimate weapon
auora Amor(armor that absorbs Cold)or good armor with more slots if i need more materia slots.
Time Magic(for haste needed)
Barrier
Hp and Mp(almost mastered)
Ribben(most important item)
monster skill
double cut
limit lvl 4( u will have that tho)
Cure 3

umm Why u guys such high lvls this isn't that hard u can do it at lvl 60 easly with a good build.

yeah ive finished the entire game with winning every materia and every single thing there is to win in that area........the only thing ive never done was get all the e-skills cuz they are rather useless in battle wheh really allyou have to do is use your swords to kill everything if you really wanted to.......did take a long long time though to get everything as it doesnt give you everything you want in total order lol:P ........first time i ever beat that creature on the land mr ruby and mr emerald or whatever their name is i was quite astonished since i had no book to base anything off of even when i checked the book i found i put things in reverse order of what the book said and still you know you probs beat them by now anyway.
