hi i think ff XII is a great game it's a lot better than I expected at first I thought that you could only get stronger via the license board but u can lv up how cool is that.^_^

Hmm lets see where do I start?? ** the crowd looks on** Well to me the license board was completly worthless. First you had to find/buy the weapon, magic, acc. ect... then you had to go to this license board to actualy use it. WTF? I don't see how the license board helps makes you "stronger" other than epers increasing magic. And as far as I know ever FF game I ever played you had to level up to get stronger. So that said I don't see how that is something to swoon about. Don't get me wrong I love this game but the short points you make don't even scratch the surface of what makes this a great game. JMO

If he honestly feels as if it is something worthy enough to "swoon" about, then let him be don't you think? I thought it was a good thing, I liked being surprised on what I was getting next on the LB.

Your right as usual. I guess what I was trying to say was,,, Why do you feel that the LB is a great thing? And what else did you like about the game? I personally think leveling up was pretty hard and time consuming but once I finally got up in the levels I did notice how much stronger I had gotten when I went back through certain areas. When I first went through the areas I found some areas difficult (like the beginning) later on I went through the same areas leveled up and it was like one hitters kill. I thought that was cool. Coming back and getting revenge on those monstors that gave my a fit. ;) hope that work better

i agree, i didn't really know what to expect, but then the battles system, level and the license system was actually a really good idea for a final fantasy game, so it fit well

soz

okay i agree it is not just great coz of the license board and the fact u can lv up but i accedently created a thread instead of a reply soz.

it's not my favorite ff but it's still gud i think it makes a nice change from the useal take turn combat and i definently prefer the fact that there are no random enconters at least u can see the enemies.

I like the LB, i found the augments really helpful, especially the ones that raised your MP after certain conditions were met.

Yeah I totally agree. You can also flee if need be or to save time. Another thing I like is while your fighting you can bring up the command menu and just look around to see whats going on without getting your head kicked in while making your next move. For instance I was in a battle and pulled the menu up looked around and there where more eneimes approaching from behind. I was able to dispatch Bathier to handle them while I continued to fight the firt wave. Very cool:cool:

Its not the best and it isnt the worst FF Ive played. But the license board is abit of getting use to. Plus I miss the whole random battles, I loved them. And no more coolio battle music :(

You can just imagine them..after defeating a group of enemies..they do a victory dance..and then they get annihilated XD

At first I was very pessimistic about XII. I despised the ADB system, and I didn't like how the random encounters had gone. I thought the license board seemes like a weak idea at first, and I didn't particulraly like the characters. Also, the story in the first few hours isn't exactly great
However, I played on, and my opinions have completely reversed. The characters are as good as those in FFVII (with the exception of Penelo), and you feel really attatched to them.
I was actually gutted when Rasler died.
I love how you don't actually know where you're going on the license board, so on your first play, you're bound to miss out quite a lot. The bosses push you to your limit, and you're almost guranteed to get game over at least once. I'm still not a big fan of the ADB though. I prefer the ATB, probably because that's the system I've grown up with, but at least it makes a change

true it takes a while to accustomed to the LB but 1nce u do it pretty gud. i wud not say it's the best ff, my personal fav is ff7 accept for the graphics of course^_^ . i only hope that ff13 does not turn out to be a pile of c**p.
