Greatest Ability/Magic System

I liked the magic learning system from VI. one of my favorites. anothe one I liked was the junction system from VIII.

I hate to kill the flow of things, but the only system I didn't really enjoy was the on in VII. It just didn't work for me. I guess it got old too fast for me.

I've pretty much liked them all, but the greatest ability system in my opinion would be VIII's junction system.

The summons/junction system was unique compared to the rest and still remains one of my favorites as far as making the best utilization of your GF’s which in my opinion, never became dull or repetitive.

I've just started playing FFVIII and I'm loving the junction system. In fact it may be my favourite...hmmm. What's more fun, Junctioning or equiping materia? That's a hardish one.

hmm i just played a demo version of FFVIII .....
but the magic summons the Dragon looked great

Yeah, I thought the Materia system was fun… It was certainly a whole lot simpler and less complex than the junction system, but no offense, I really didn’t find it all that great as far as keeping me entertained. For me, it just got really dull and boring in short amount of time… Sorry.

I really loved the Junction system in final fantasy 8. I also loved the ability system in final fantasy 9. Such a nice abilty system wasted on final fantasy 10-2.
