Multiple Platforms Good RPG with a lot of cutscenes?

Well im in need of a new RPG, and i was gonna get fable 3 but blahhh. All i want is something with a lot of Cutscenes, like Final Fantasy. Thats actually why i love Final Fantasy games, because of all the cutscenes. It can be for ps3 or 360, doesn't matter, i just want hours of footage. :]
 
Lost Odyssey has a lot of cut scenes and is a really good RPG, lots of gameplay and a great story as well, Also Blue dragon is a solid RPG with a lot of cutscenes in
 
Well...what I know is that the new generation of consoles don't have too much j-rpgs yet.

If you still had a ps2,you could play:

Shadow Hearts 2
Shadow Hearts 3
Xenosaga III Spach at Zarahtrusta(the first 2 were bad games,imo)
Rogue Galaxy
Tales of the Abyss
Wild ARMs V

Or you could just wait for Ni no Kuni(promising rpg being made by Level-5 studios,same from Rogue Galaxy and Dragon Quest 8) to be released for ps3 =]
 
You should probably invest yourself with the Xenosaga series. They have frequent cutscenes and sometimes they stretch for as long as a half hour, with save points in between. It has a great story, and they can be quite fun. The first two are NOT bad games, ehem. Just because they aren't as GOOD as the third one, doesn't mean you should skip them. You'd miss out on story if you skipped to the third and final installment. Therefore, watching the cutscenes would be almost meaningless. I love cutscenes, also.
 
I'm thinking of buying Demon's Souls. Is from last year and was well received by criticism. Right now there are many other options on the RPG scene for PS3.
 
I was looking into demons souls, but im not into RPGs based in the medieval era. Seems to be way to many of them. But I hear it's quite a challenge and that's appealing.
 
Star Ocean 4- was pretty solid (nothing spectacular). Playing dragon quest 8 now, its good not great. Both are worth it if you aren't spending too much on them.
 
holy jesus Lost Odyssey is so booooooooring! Im 5hrs in and calling it quits. The story is uninteresting and the characters are horrible, i mean the main character is walking around with long hair and a half shirt. i wish i could get my moniez back.

All the 3 are good,although the first has just a few cut-scenes, it's awesome too.

Without mentioning it's extremely rare to find rpgs that have real characters on it...Roger Bacon,Rasputin,Al Capone even appear on it. And the game is on the 10, and 20', during the years of WWI,it's great. In 2,one of the characters of your group is princess Anastasia Romanov,and of them,well:
