Okay, well as anyone who has been to the FFIX forums knows, my game freezes right before I enter Cleyra, so I'm gonna have to buy a new one, and if it doesn't work, I'm gonna have to just replay it
or get my old PS1 out
(((!
Anyway, while I'm waiting to get my new copy of FFIX, I was wondering, "How much does a copy of FFVII go for these days"?
I looked, and to my astonishment, this widely-loved game sells for around $178 new and that's not even for a black-label one.
Used ones, with missing cases and manuals were like 70$! wtf!
I guess It's because people (like me) would be willing to pay that much if our FFVII disc ever broke
Good thing I bought mine like RIGHT before the PS1 games vanished all of a sudden.
i bought mine BRAND SPANKING NEW for I think either $10 or $20 at Wal-Mart.
I'm thinking, "with a game so popular, why doesn't Sony or Square-Enix just start a re-sale of FFVII? There would be TONS of people forking out money for those retro games (which i'm sure play on PS3).
At least the sellers who want to cheat gamers wouldn't be making all the money
Oh well, I'm going to cherish my copy of FFVII. It will be like a family heirloom. For all I know, once my grandchildren and such grow up, the game will probably cost about $1000 used with no case and manual, and would probably cost about $10,000 to a cool mill.
*sigh*
