Gogo -Male or Female?

After reading the FF9 thread: Quina -Male or Female? I desided to start this one and share a rumor I heard.

I heard that Gogo is actually female and turns out to be shadow's wife/Realm's mother.
I've never been able to get Shadow after the floating continent (I've waited for 3 1/2 min too!) so I've never been able to have him in the party, sleep at the Inn, and find out more about his story :/

Does anyone now if this is true or not?
Do you think Gogo is a he or a she... Perhaps maybe even a shim or some type or tranny? xD

Wait longer.

Shadow comes at... 10 seconds left, if memory serves.

Gogo is not Relm's mother. Her mother is never hinted at in the story. There is a possibility of hir being Setzer's former love, Daryl. But even that's really a stretch.

Theories abound as to what Gogo is. In my personal opinion, I think that's the point. S/He's a mimic in the truest sense, able to become whatever the player thinks s/he should be. Maybe that even extends to gender, though I hadn't thought of it.

Many believe GoGo is a woman and for good reason, not sure about Relms mom but I think GoGo is Daryl, And there's a lot of sense to it XD Gogo meaning afternoon in Japanese could be a hint to the time of day that Daryl went missing, she was found on the same Island Daryl went missing but I highly doubt that's true :<
 
Hope that Gogo is female so the theory of Gogo being Daryl is more possible..

But reckon that Gogo is just Gogo from FF V just X- Zoned or warped into the FF6 world..

"Shrouded in odd clothing... is this a man...? ...a woman...? ...or should we even ask...?"

This pretty much states that its gender is unknown to anyone, and we can only speculate what is beneath those robes.

There are multiple theories (some ludicrous) on the identity of Gogo:
Daryl (very popular)
Leo (quite popular)
Gestahl
Gogo from FFV
Baram
Banon
Gilgamesh
Pseudo-Ziegfried (when you first meet Ziegfried it is supposed to be an imposter and a mimic)
Adlai E. Stevenson (the bonkers theory).

I won't detail the theories for these as this is a question of gender, and not identity.


Most of these are male, but considering they are only theories and none of them are confirmed.... It's gender is best described either how you yourself view the character, or as a mystery never to be known (like the character description).
 
She has a vagingo- so I say a lady.
