I found a good place to gather good Gil quick.
Ahead for Omega Ruins and wait for a battle that involves a chest (I can't remember the name of the tiny little monster, arg), then, open it and hope it has nothing inside it, if that happens a monster will appear from the chest, just beat him out and see the adena rising up.
Probably you know a way better but i've said this one because this monster appears very often and the monster inside the chest is very easy to kill.

No. I'ts not that. That is the Chest Quest of the Omega Ruins. And that has nothing to do with this.

Isn't it just those mimics (that come out of the chests) that give you like 50,000 gil and you get twice as much if you have Rikkus Godhand with gillionaire, or something that has gillionaire....anyway, yeah, I know about it

That monster (mimic) that you defeat gives you 50000 gil after the battle.
And it's not that hard to beat it so, I suppose it is a good way of earning gil. Unless you get attacked by a Malboro

Interesting, I kill Malboro with one Hit lol. Even if I get ambushed I have Auron's Celestial Weapon, so I have *Initiative* = P

I already 'got it' just a little more and I'll be able to defeat the monsters at the Monster Arena without having to summon Magus Sisters.

I never had a problem with gil anyway, never really needed all that much later on when I was over powered. I only ever really bought those 4 slot armours from Wantz in Macalania

Yeh, It's easier to earn gil in FFX than it is in others. Reason is that you can customize your weapons for free instead of going to a shop and buying one.

I have Penance on my Game.. Took me about 3 hours to beat that ugly thing x'D

Yeah we have the pal version, not got round to penance yet, I neglected to finish of Dark Yojimbo and I just can't motivate myself to give him a good kicking

Penace is an evil bastard, and yes I have beaten him in two and a half hours.

I new about the money trick with the mimics and it is awsome when you have gillionare equiped as the gil you hal in per battle is huge.

For penance use Final Mix (from Rikku's Overdrive) that helps a lot!!

Malboro's are bitches .

But yeah, this is a very quick way to get gil. Just fight the Mimic with Rikku in your party (considering you have her Godhand max power) and you'll get 50k gil.
