Getting back into Macalania Temple

So, I defeated Dark Shiva at Macalania, as I need to return to get the special treasure in the cloister of trials. But I can't get through the front entrance, Guado just keep attacking me.

Is there any other way in, or am I just doing it wrong?

You must be at a point before you've confronted Mika on the Highbridge. After this sequence, the Temples won't be blocked off to the summoner party.

Im pretty sure you can get back in that way

I have no problem getting back in, just er, try to run round them?

OR have you tried leaving and going back?

Nope, it's after that point.
I could try returning.
And no, running round 'em doesn't help.

Ah, well then the Guado just appear after killing Dark Shiva. Upon your exit and return they should cease pursuit and like... well, randomly not be there.

Which makes no sense, but this is why you should always get the treasure on your first run.

Yes, thanks for all the tips, the Guado are gone now, and I can get back in there.
