Since gold still scales up as you get further in the game, this once again gives advantage to high level players. You don't want everyone maxing out their stats within a week, which they could easily do if this bot becomes available.

Hey, so, I don't expect any of you to listen to my two cents on all of these comments or anything, but I've quite a bit of RPG Inferno creation experience under my belt and, well... this is just lulzworthy right here.

I'm amazed how you guys think Game Variants can break themselves. Lol. Never experienced this through.... 6+ Inferno incarnations. xD

Also, quests are the simplest things to work and they make life SO easy, since they allow you to group everything together into one trigger with no problems at all~ <3

Also, your ideas of "dungeons"... >_>; Every area I make turns into something like that. I've never made a straight-away area in my entire 'ferno career. Boooooring. Gawrsh.

I even made a custom Trigger Condition one time that would check to see if you had NOT beaten a given boss, meaning it would have made your glitch here not even a glitch, since the boss would have only been allowed to be beaten once.

Also, I've made more complex NPC's than a 10-stage tournament before. <_<; I made a complex set of riddles which had to be solved in a specific order in order to progress onwards, spread throughout four NPC's over a 30-area dungeon with lots of twists, turns, and uni-directional traveling.

Le sigh.

Oh shut up. If your only reason for joining was to insult our RPG Directors and the way they prefer to handle the game then you can just walk your little bird legs on outta here. :)

Honestly, Iggy, you're RPG riddles are very boring and are waaay too time consuming. I like the way it goes here and you're opinions don't sound very encouraging or helpful.

Well I have a good deal of RPG Inferno experience under my belt too, and I don't publicly complain on other sites about how superior our version is in comparison. Frankly that's just lacking taste, especially if you have nothing positive to contribute. I also wrote quite a few guides for the game, some of which the original developers publicly endorsed and attributed me for. Decado offered me a free license to the game for one of these guides, and it's really only now that I'm taking him up on that offer. I did not see anyone else trying to write any help files for this game, including yourself (and I have a good idea who you were on the forums), which is probably why the Admin help section remains empty to this day.

This little quip makes me wonder if you have any idea what Quests are even supposed to be used for. Anyone experienced with this area of Inferno knows that ANY basic trigger can group other triggers, and that there is a whole separate Group Trigger to do the same job. Quests are simply a means of giving directions to the player when you want them to complete a task. They are to make the player's life easier, not the RPG developer's. So please don't act like our current developers are somehow "missing out" by not using them.

Well good for you mate, if you have PHP access and a whole lot of time on your hands, I can see how that custom conditions would be a reasonable goal to work on. Now that I have plenty of time and my own server to work on, I'm planning on making random number generators and triggers that will permanently remove NPCs or move them to new locations. Heck, I might try to create custom AI that will attack with spells in ways the normal RPG can't handle. The trigger files all follow the same basic template, I can't image it would be that hard.

Also, I've made more complex NPC's than a 10-stage tournament before. <_<; I made a complex set of riddles which had to be solved in a specific order in order to progress onwards, spread throughout four NPC's over a 30-area dungeon with lots of twists, turns, and uni-directional traveling.

And you probably had the technical support you needed, a player base that didn't demand a new set of level grinding areas every two days, and fellow staff members who weren't bent on fighting your creative decisions every step of the way. It wasn't exactly easy trying to experiment when our admin refused to upgrade from the very first version of the game until we were near the end of the development process. When I was finally given the leniency to make my own brand of game, I made some truly epic PvP setups in the style of classic Wild West duels using a variety of powerful weapons abilities and skills that forced players to outwit and outplay the opponent rather than merely outtrain him before the battle. I have yet to see this kind of action on any other RPG Inferno. You can hardly expect me to believe that simply because you can make long dungeons that somehow your site is an exception.

As I suspected, you sound very much like one of those snobbish mods from the Kingdom Hearts Inferno site. Like it or not, the RPG on that site is still a mindless linear grinding fest with the standard spell and leveling conventions that made PvP an exercise in frustration from the beginning Infernos on GZEvolution. By the way, KHinsider is the first forum I've ever encountered that tries to force me into downloading a blatant HTML script virus simply by viewing a thread. How about you fix the crap on your site first before complaining about ours?

The Inferno I am working on is set to be the most epic version of the system ever created, and when it's finished we'll see who's really the most skilled developer out there. As for now I'm having a whole lot of fun with the perfectly capable RPG right here.

I wish a decent forum troll would come along every now and then, i got nobody to torment :gonk:

Obviously your have a main account here since you've obviously played the game here before long enough to know what the entire game is like so far. So please, tell me who your main account is so can can leave you purdy usernotes :monster:

Aside from the above text. If you don't like it, don't play it. Their not going to cater to your wants and needs when the rest of the players like it just fine. And if you think you can do better, Go make a better game, and make a post in the advertising board about your epic rpg.

Ugh, my thread here was only to state that I fixed a glitch. Think it is time to close this thread since it is no longer needed.

RPG Inferno has so many known glitches that I am surprised a supposed experienced developer would not be aware of them.
