Galactic Chaos [GM styled RP]~Sign Up~
As time is relative, one can not certainly say what time we are in, as some planets are still in a medieval setting. As some have progressed into barely landing on a moon.
Where as some have progressed in to the time where travel between planets are no more then a mere 5 minute trip, depending on the level of the ship. Travel between galaxies are not more then a few hours, depending on which you go from and towards.
Naturally, this have made a leap in technology itself as well. Where humans gain bionic implants, to further aid them in the job they are found suitable of doing. As people are not free to chose a job as one would think. They are connected to a scanner, where ones brains is scanned for skills and reaction charts. Where a list of suitable jobs are then listed. Where the 'higher ups' then choose a suitable one dependant on where one needs more manpower.
Even thought as the times are in a state of high level of tech, there are still those who occasionally visit a planet with a lower level of tech. Which gives birth to stories about aliens, and such things.
In all sense they are true, as aliens exist, and sometimes it is aliens that actually visit the planets. But they are rarely believed. At least not until their planet gains space travels as well.
Some people are actually approached due to some unique abilities they have. So meeting a medieval person on a random space station, or space ship, is not as rare as one would think.
So in this time, one does not only see persons with high tech energy based weapons, or implants on different areas of the body. One can actually find 100% humans, with magical abilities, or knights of old times, with high level energy based melee weapons.
In this futuristic time, there where a period of absolute bliss. No war, no drugs and no problems at all.
This changed dramatically, when some men with powerful influence, started plotting to take over the known universe.
This naturally caused a large commotion where the news spread, and there where a universal state of chaos.
Some rallied together to try and fight back, some took to their loved ones, and simply did not want to fight. Many died in fighting against them, some submitted and became a part of their reign.
However, as their fingers of control spread across the universe, they now control a whole galaxy.
They have requited mages from some of the medieval planets, as well as trained their own soldiers for battle against many things.
Some scientists even started creating some monsters, some hybrids of various creatures, hoping to create a strong ally against the rebellion.
On a few planets, as well as the surrounding space stations, a plan where started. They where to collect a small army, and split them in different groups.
Along a new type of weapon, they where to enter the galaxy and try to again gain control of it.
The weapon is a toxin, that have been sent over a year ago. It kills a rough 31% of the enemy, and then weakens some. Then it fades away, without any trace.
This makes an attack at this time, a good decision.
As many gather in a space station that orbits a planet that is not too far from the end of a galaxy, they are grouped together and given an AI, a construct, that will help then if they come in contact with hard electronics, or if they come in contact with alien devices. (more about this later)
Although this is the best time for attack, the enemy are aware of their power decreasing, so they started upgrading some of their more unique soldiers.
Most if not all got the same uniform, and a few got a visor that helps them detect things in the distance, as well as night vision and a few other effects.
The uniform is completely dark blue, it has black boots that cover all the way to their knees, and have gloves of the same color. Some wear a dark brown piece of cloth to shield their face, up over their nose. This also helps them if they should embark in a sandy environment.
On the forehead of some of the soldiers, rests a visor, it is the same blue color, save 3 lenses that vaguely emit dark red light when active.

Some Jobs
-Pilot.
The pilot, depending on the level of his implants, can control various sized spaceships.
All from the small fighters, to large star cruisers.
All pilots have one implant in both arms, to communicate with the cockpit systems, this also gives a base control to all forms of 'manipulators'.
As well as one in the right eye, which are used to display the HUD.
-Electronics specialist.
The electronics specialist have 2 implants. One in his right palm, and one in his brain.
These 2 work together, making it possible for the user to control many forms of electronics by physical touch, and by using his mind.
-Mechanic.
The mechanic gets 4 implants, that are placed in key areas in his body, to stimulate the strength of muscles. This is to make him more able to use, and move heavy equipment.
-Soldier.
The soldier have different implants to aid them in their missions.
Higher strength then normal, but lower then a mechanics.
Better vision then normal, but lower then a scout, or a pilot.
An built in filtration system in the lungs, so they can breath slightly toxic air.
-Psycher
The Psyches have a few implants in their brain, to unlock some latent psychic powers. This reigns all from telekinesis, till creating portals through solid objects.
They have a energy level based on their training and race.

-AI (Artificial Intelligence)
Every group are given one, it is the highest level of AI available at the time.
It resides in a small device that can be worn as a wrist device, and only needs physical contact for a second to transfer it self into a device.
Its level of intelligence is that of a human, the main difference is that itself is a program, a smart program. So hacking and such things are much simpler done by the AI then any human, regardless of implants.
The wrist device glow a dim reddish colour when the AI resides in it, when it is not there, the device looks as if it is 'turned off'.
Each AI has a unique name, so that it can be 'called' upon.
It can 'show' itself, like a hologram, either via the built in features of the wrist device. Or via systems of the controlled system.
The wrist device also has a wireless system, so after the AI have taken control over a system, it can activate remote control, so that it can control it from a distance if such an action is supported by the controlled system. (Will be played by GM)

This RP will be GM (Game Master) based. If I at a later date decide that it should be converted to a normal RP, we can take that decision at that time.
This means that you state your actions, and based on your relative stat, a dice will be rolled (I will use real dice, or a virtual one) to check if you hit, and the effects of it.
It will take on the form of a "pen & paper" RP, also known as the D&D style. Just via a forum.
Before you add any items, implants or weapons, PM/IM/whatever me about it first.
