This is a thread dedicated to the sweetest, most caring and lovable Final Fantasy Character of all: Aerith Gainsborough.

It was very tragic, what happened to her, but we shall persevere! All Aerith lovers come and visit Gaisborough Gardens!
 
Im in, She was my most used character before her death because of her healing powers and all. When she died i cried!
 
Same. The music really brought on the tears as well :'(
It is tragic that she was just kneeling there, praying to Holy and then Sephiroth just came swooping down and impaled her.
Man, the timing of Aerith's theme with the first bounce of the Holy Materia was just amazingly tearjerking (or tragically tearjerking, whichever you prefer). This inspired me to learn Aerith's Theme on Guitar.

If anyone knows about any free downloadable Sound recorders that record for more than a minute (cuz my sound recorder only lets me do a minute), please let me know, and I will play it for you guys in the talents sections in these forums. I really would love to play it more. I can also play Cosmo Canyon and SOME of One-Winged Angel.
 
I'm in! I really adore her and hate that she had to die, but she died for the sake of the Planet itself *sighs* I think she's cute in KH :D
 
I like her in KH2. I love
how she just stares at Leon when he wants to stick around and fight, but she says she'll handle it. Man, I love how Leon just backed off like a scared cat :D
 
Oh yeah, no doubt whatsoever. But she was...how should I put this...silently commanding in KH2. She was fierce, yet quiet. That would be amazing if you could use her to fight Sephiroth in KH2 man. Tha would be awesome...
 
KH2 was like a compilation of Disney and Final Fantasy characters, not really the storyline. I just think that Tifa was really funny in it. She was looking for 'somebody' and tore apart

place just looking for him ^_^ Shes bad, real bad.

But, yeah, KH2 was just a merging of the Disney and Square-Enix storylines. nothing in it truely followed storylines from the movies and shows/games. I could recite for you guys right now the exact storyline for The Lion King, and it would be different to that of the KH2 Lion King.
 
They have altered the storyies for every world in KH, with sora coming in,they gotta change it
 
Yeah, it was a little annoying. It would have been better if they had made Aerith a spirit instead of being alive. At least then Cloud would have had even more reason to take down Sephiroth.

BTW, do you guys think that the battle with Seraph Sephiroth would have been easier with Aerith (in FFVII), or harder. She doesn't exactly have the best Health you kniow, but her magic/summoning power kicks ass!
 
Like the Cloud clubs, I just realised this is duplicate as well.

Since the other one is less active (currently) and is also older, I'll close that one. But really, you need to look for these things.

So, why aren't you guys posting here anyways? We all know that Aerith is way better than any other female FF character :D
 
Personally, she was right up there as my favorite Final Fantasy Character of all time. She's tied with Garnet til Alexandros from FFIX. Actually, Garnet's name is really Sarah, but we'll call her Garnet for now. But anyways.

Do you guys think she was openly in love with Cloud, or partially because she was in love with Zack?
 
I feel that she was openly in love with Cloud. Yes she saw the Zack in him but she also saw the Cloud in him. Everybody misinterprets what she says. When she says to him on the gondola "I want meet the real...you" In Japanese culture that means "I want to be your sweetheart" It does not mean she wants to meet the Cloud in him and not the Zack in him. I think Cloud and Aerith are destined to be together and I believe that when Cloud meets his end, he will reuinte with Aerith in the Lifestream. I also believe that Aerith will always be there with him and guide him come what may for the rest of his days. If you've read Maiden Who Travels the Planet, the writer is writing in Aerith's perspective. Aerith loved Cloud much more than she ever loved Zack. So in my opinion she did openly love Cloud ^_^
 
Yeah, I personally aggree. I think that she was in love with Cloud. There was an element of Zack in him, but that's what contributed to his Cloud-ness. If it weren't for that, he would've been....not Cloud.

Well, we also have to look at Aerith's feelings if she ever found out the truth about Cloud.
She died before he could tell her that he was not really an ex-SOLDIER, and that he did know Zack, and that Zack gave his life to save Cloud. If she found that out, I honestly wonder how she'd react. I know she wouldn't stop loving Cloud, but her grief would be exponential, because she still had some feelings for Zack.
 
Once she died and returned to the Lifestream, Aerith did discover who Cloud was. Read Maiden Who Travels the Planet. It sheds so much insight on Aerith after she died.
