I watched it at an anime convention with the actual voice actors Vic (Ed) and Travis (Roy) there. I swear a thousand fangirls were screaming and crying. Still it was a really good movie and I now own the special edition dvd ^^

I don't think the Movie put a fair close to the series though... I think the ending of the series itself was one of those things that was supposed to last, so the movie ending kind of skewed it a little

The creators of the anime made a mistake when they took a 180 from the manga storyline. If you have read the manga you will know that the story is completely different after awhile cause the anime couldn't wait for the manga to catch up. After two seasons the anime creators couldn't fit the anime back with the manga so they made a different conclusion with the movie.

Even though I do like the manga, the movie is still way better than what I thought it was going to be.

and u r not of those girls?!!
Well I like the Anime but I'm not a Manga fan.

I thought the movie was dissapointing to be the ending of the series. It was sort of, you know, bad.

I also read the manga. It is alot different from the anime, witch makes it better than most mangas and animes.

I finished the series and saw the movie. The movie was okay, but i felt the ending of the series was better. Oh, i also just started reading the manga.

heck yea! the anime series was awesome and the manga was fantastic! you would have to be stupid to not watch the movie. it wouold be like being a fan of FFVII:AC but never playing the game

i have'nt watch the movie but i finished watching the tv series,, so it means that the series shown in tv was not really the end:D that would be nice:D

To tell the truth, I never really got into the anime, so I doubt I'll see the movie. The series just struck me as an anime for non-anime fans, as 80% of the people I knew who watched it had never seen another anime in their life, yet claim themselves 'anime fans' for only watching FMA.

The movie?
I actually just started watching the show. I set my tivo to record every upcoming episode, and incidentally I happened to start recording on the DAY that they started the re-runs right from episode one. Lucky me. ^__^

Is this series complete, or which episode is the last episode?

I saw the movie, and was completely astonished by the ending. This movie is absolutely incredible. I can't help but compare it to Advent Children.

@ Nephany: Yes, the series is complete. Just think of the movie as an ''epilougue''

Great. ^__^
I hate watching an anime, getting into the series, and then realizing that it's incomplete. =\

I'm in love with this show and I've only watched episode one. I love science. ^__^

I have the movie and I love it! i actually got mine signed at Anime USA by Catlin Glass (Winry) I wish Vic was there too... but its all good, I met him the year before :)

I saw the movie it was ok but the ending was too open and they need to make another movie or another season of the tv show
