Freezing glitch?

Hi there,

This is my first post on the forum. I have a problem with FF X-2. Does anyone know of any backwards compatibility problems between it and the slim PS2?

I remember playing the game a few years back, and I'm almost certain it was on my original PS2, but I never finished the game.

Now, with the slim PS2, the game freezes right after the opening movie, right after the concert. Every time.

I've tried it with two different FFX-2 discs, so I know it's not my disc. Any ideas? I really want to play the game, and finish it, but I can't even get past the first scene.

If anyone can help, I'd be grateful. Thanks!

My friend had X-2 and never had this problem i think maybe you have a faulty machine, have you tried the game on somebody elses machine?

I've never had any problems.... unfortunately

Count yourself lucky that you can't play it lol
