Ahhh I'm complaining....sorry :wacky:

Buti is there anything that can be done about banishing dark fonts -_-

It's getting really irritating have to sit up to read posts or highlight them so I can actually read them, I actually find myself skipping long posts that are in dark fonts because I just can't be bothered going through the rigmorhole of trying to read them :gasp:

Or am I just gunna have to live with it? :monster:

It seems pretty minor in comparison to other issues, and really quite ridiculous to outright complain about... but I agree; it's a pain in the ass to have to deal with black etc pasted around the forum, when there are perfectly pleasant and suitable alternate font colours which can be used.

I might even go as far as saying those that do choose such colours are doing it purposely. It's not exactly a considerate choice.

Well, depending on the newer skins we're set to have, a darker colour might show up much more clearly than a typical light colour. The only way I can see to side-step that problem would be to make particular fonts available with one skin and unavailable for another (so that dark fonts and this skin wouldn't be seen and light fonts with a light skin wouldn't be seen).

Dave's right. Eventually (but not anytime soon as these things take time to make) we're going to be having a few different types of skins. I'd rather not get rid of any font colors truth be told, so I'm sorry guys. You're stuck with 'em unfortunately. The people who want to be asses or just simply don't realize their font is too dark, well...if you don't read their posts or respond to what they say, I guess it's their loss since they don't have a more adequate font coloring. Just try and be patient. We'll have new skins and hopefully certain font colors won't clash with the skin background.

If you really want to read what they're saying, select all the text in their post and paste it in Notepad or some other word processor.

But I would agree that doing this should be unnecessary, and may be a pain in the ass for some people.
